Kalyana Karnataka
candidates

KKR* approved candidates will be first considered for allotment in General Merit as per their merit and rank, and as per the preference of college and course given by them. After exhausting the GM seats, the candidates belonging to the KKR region will be allotted the seats in the KKR category as per their rank and preferences. The order below will be followed based on the ranks and preferences.
1. General Merit
2. KKR

Note: A KKR candidate who selects the “Accept and Upgrade” option for a GM or KKR seat allotted in round 1 will only be considered for KKR seats in round 2. Such a candidate will not be eligible for any further rounds after round 2.

Round 2 Allotment of KKR category seats
  • Only the KKR category seats will be allotted for KKR-approved candidates (as per seat availability)
  • For candidates who select “Reject and Upgrade” in round 1 and belong to the KKR category, the seats would be allotted in the KKR category as per the rank and preferences. In case they select “Reject and Upgrade” for allotment in round 2, the allotment will be done during the de-categorised round (round 3) for General Merit seats.
NOTE i) KKR category candidate allotted a KKR seat in round 1 and is in “Accept &Upgrade” status at the end of round 1, who does not get an upgrade in round 2, will only have the option to Accept & Freeze the seat they hold and cannot participate in further rounds.
ii) A candidate belonging to the KKR category and is allotted a GM seat in round 1 and is in Accept & Upgrade status at the end of round 1, and is ‘allotted’ a seat in round 2 will not be able to participate in further rounds. They will only have the option to 'Accept & Freeze'.
iii) In case a candidate belonging to KKR Category holding a GM seat in round 1 and is in 'Accept & Upgrade' status at the end of round 1 and does not get an upgraded seat in round 2, will get the option to 'Accept & Freeze' or continue to the next round with status of Accept & Upgrade.

In this round, all remaining vacant seats in the KKR category will be converted to general merit. The rank list will invariably be followed for the allotment of seats. Candidates who will be considered in the General Merit quota are:
