IIT Roorkee announced GATE 2025 results on March 19, but before results were OUT there were a rush of emotions and predictions running among GATE aspirants. But after the result, we at Shiksha conducted a poll to know student's reactions about their performance and results. With 80 students participating in the poll, here's what the poll revealed.

Around 33% aspirants have planned to attempt GATE next year, and 31% were disappointed about their performance. Well, this shows that many were expecting good results, but somehow it did not match. Consider this is as a trial and start preparing right now. Track your mistakes and plan your goal.

Candidates applying to a MSc course in IIT Delhi must fulfil the required eligibility criteria. Thus, aspirant must hold a valid bachelor's degree in a relevant stream for at least two years (four semesters) and a minimum aggregate between 55% and 80% or 5.5 CGPA out of 10.
For MSc cognitive science/economic courses, the accepted degrees are BA/BSc/BCom/BTech/BE/BStat/BMath or equivalent. The total course fee for MSc course is ranges between INR 30K and INR 3 lakh.

The GATE exam is conducted once a year. The entrance test takes place on multiple dates and shifts for 30 test papers. For 2026, IIT Guwahati is conducting the exam on February 7, 8, 14, and 15.

IISC Bangalore accepts JEE Main score for BTech admission 2024. The university has different admission criteria as per course requirement. IISc Bangalore offers a four-year BTech in Mathematics and Computing divided into eight semesters. The course is divided into two parts, i.e., Core Courses and Soft Core Courses.
