With only few days left for JEE Main 2018 exam to be held, it is suggested that aspirants should not start preparing with any new book/books at this stage. Ramesh Batlish, FIITJEE expert says, “ One must not start any new books at this stage. However one can still refer to standard books for concept clearing. This stage should be utilized more for problem solving, developing short cuts, and memorizing formulae, understanding ones strengths & weaknesses. Aspirants must take up Mock Tests in Online /Offline modes to develop ones’ self-confidence. Time Management is crucial to score more marks in the actual JEE Main. Learning one’s strength & weaknesses and improving upon them may help secure a better rank in JEE”.

Expert tip: Just go through the periodic in general and read NCERT for Inorganic Chemistry. For Organic part, first build up your all basic concepts and then start doing lots of practice. And for Physical part, practice as many numericals as you can.

Recommendation: Students are advised to avoid selective study in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The reason being, the number of questions is more in the objective papers where there is intermingling of concepts from various topics.
