Karnataka Examination Authority will conduct the KCET 2025 exam on April 16 & 17. KCET 2025 Kannada language exam for KCET 2025 will be conducted on April 15. Candidates appearing in the exam have to carry their KCET hall ticket 2025 along with one valid photo ID proof to the exam centre. KCET 2025 Exam: Karnataka Examination Authority is going to conduct the KCET exam 2025 on April 16 & 17. KEA will conduct the KCET exam for Kannada language on April 18. Applicants appearing in the exam are advised to follow all the KCET 2025 exam day guidelines and instructions at the time of appearing in the exam. Candidates are also advised to KCET dress code 2025. KEA conducts KCET 2025 exam in two sessions – forenoon and afternoon. KCET exam 2025 shift 1 exam will be conducted from 10:30 AM to 11:50 AM while shift 2 will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 3:50 PM. KCET Exam Timing 2025 

Karnataka Examination Authority mentions the KCET 2025 exam timing in the official notification. KEA conducts the KCET exam 2025 in two sessions – Forenoon and Afternoon. Applicants appearing in the exam must appear as per the slot mentioned in the KCET admit card 2025. The authorities will not allow any candidate to appear in the KCET exam other than the slot mentioned in the hall ticket. For more details, candidates can refer to the table provided below.

The exam body released the exam dates for the KCET 2026 on its official website. As per the dates, the test was conducted on April 23-24, 2026. 

Q:   What are the steps to do KCET option entry 2025?
A: 
  • Visit - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
  • Click on UGCET and login using QR scan
  • Capture photo and verify OTP
  • Pay a non-refundable processing fee of INR 750
  • Once payment is sucessful, candidates can participate in counselling process. 
  • Select category, to do KCET option entry.
  • Enter list of colleges and courses on right side (rank them in your desired order)
  • Rearrange and once you are satified
  • Save and submit the KCET options. 

 KCET Dress Code 2025 

Karnataka Examination Authority does not mention the KCET dress code in the official notification. However, applicants are advised to avoid wearing clothes with large buttons, caps, pendant, any kind of jewelry, thick sole shoes and others. As per the KCET dress code, Nose pins, Chains/necklaces are also not allowed inside KCET exam entre. Candidates are advised to adhere to the KCET 2025 dress code to avoid any kind of problem at the time of appearing in the exam. Candidates are advised to wear light color clothes with less pockets. Female applicants are advised to avoid wearing jeans, leggings and kurtis during the exam.

KCET 2025 Exam – Do’s 

Applicants are advised to follow all the important guidelines and instructions provided below at the time of appearing in the KCET 2025 exam. 

  • Candidates are advised to reach the KCET exam centre atleast 45 minutes before the commencement of the exam. 
  • It is compulsory to carry KCET hall ticket 2025 along with one valid photo ID proof to the exam centre.  
  • Applicants have to report at the exam centre as per the slot mentioned in the KCET admit card. 
  • It is advisable to strictly adhere to the KCET dress code.  
  • Do not carry any restricted items like mobile phones, calculators, pagers, smart watches and others inside the exam hall.  
  • Do not leave the exam centre before the conclusion of KCET 2025 exam.

KCET Exam 2025 - Don'ts 

  • Carrying restricted items like calculators, mathematical/Log tables, pagers, cell phones, watches, any other electronic gadgets and loose sheets of paper into the examination hall is strictly prohibited.  
  • Applicants are not allowed to leave the KCET exam centre before the conclusion of the exam.  
  • Do not try to make nuisance during the KCET 2025 exam. 
  • Do not touch the keyboard while attempting the KCET exam. The authorities will not allow candidates to use the keyboard during KCET exam 2025.

KCET Hall Ticket 2025 

Karnataka Examination Authority has released the KCET 2025 admit card online at the official website. Successfully registered candidates can download the KCET admit card at kea.kar.nic.in. The credentials required to download the KCET hall ticket are the application number and password. Candidates must note that KCET 2025 admit card is available online only. KEA will not send KCET admit card through email ID or any other mode. Along with the KCET admit card, applicants also need to carry one valid photo ID proof to the exam centre.
