TNEA Colleges for Cutoff Marks Between 100 to 120: Tamil Nadu UG engineering admissions rely on TNEA ranks. These ranks are based on normalised Class 12 board marks scaled down to a 200-mark base: Mathematics counts for 100, while Physics and Chemistry count for 50 each. A standardisation process equates marks from different boards with the Tamil Nadu State Board marks.

TNEA cut-off score is the minimum mark that candidates have to secure to be eligible for admission to B.Tech courses. Eligible candidates for TNEA are called seat allotment on the basis of TNEA cut-off marks and availability of seats in the TNEA participating colleges. The TNEA cut-off admission scores will also be released after each round of counselling on the official website. TNEA cutoffs are different for all the categories depending on various exam factors.

TNEA Counselling Process
TNEA Counselling Process comprises following steps -
- Go to official website - tneaonline.org
- Register by filling application form and uploading required documents
- Then the registered candidates are assigned with TNEA random numbers that is used to prepare merit list.
- Candidates have to then proceed to document verification at the nearest TFCs.
- The candidates with successfully verified documents are then included in the TNEA rank list.
- Next, online TNEA counselling process is held for the candidates with name in th TNEA rank list. The online counselling process will include steps like choice filling, seat allotment, seat confirmation and then reporting to the college allotted to them.
