A total of 60-70 percent of students are placed. 1.3 crores package is the highest, and 11 LPA is around the average package. All major companies came for recruitment (FAANG and all). Hostel facilities are pretty good except in some 1st year rooms, AC and attached washrooms are available with attached balcony, mess food is provided by French company Sudexo. Extra-curricular activities rooms are also present in hostels. Overall crowd is also good.

Indian Institute of Technology Dhanbad is one of the oldest IITs. It offers quality education to the students under the guidance of experts.  IIT Dhanbad has been ranked 21 in the QS WUR Ranking By Subject, and it is ranked 110 in Southern Asia and 424 in Asia by QS World Ranking 2026. National Institute of Technology Warangal is a governmnet institute in Telangana. It is popularly known as NIT Warangal or NITW. It was earlier known as the Regional Engineering College. The institute has been ranked 28 by the NIRF Ranking 2025 under the 'Engineering' category & 63 in the overall "College" category. The highest package offered during placements was INR 64.3 LPA in 2025. Some of the top companies such as Amazon, Genpact, Accenture, HCL, etc. visited the campus. Overall, it is a very famous institute.

National Institute of Technology, Calicut conducts the application in online mode. Interested candidates can fill the application forms on the official website. The admissions to NIT Calicut are offered on the basis of entrance exam scores. Candidates have to fulfil the eligibility criteria. 

The mode of application at Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education is online with students able to apply online through the university admissions portal so long as they complete the course eligibility.
Students must apply after they receive the entrance exam scores that is required for the courses though in the case of merit based admissions students can still apply before they give the final examination so long as they complete the course eligibility within a certain time frame.

VNIT Nagpur is not that costly. The course fee for Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology's flagship BTech programme is around INR 5 lakh. The course fees for MTech and BArch at the institute are around INR 1.4 lakh and INR 6.3 lakh, respectively. Overall, the institute is considered relatively affordable for all courses.

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi has been ranked 463rd by the QS World University Rankings 2026 in the 'Asian University' category. Under the 'Southern Asia' category, it was ranked 120.
