Indian Institute of Science in 2025 admission for the best college or not in M.Tech ME course.
Placements: In this college, the best package is provided through the placement campus. In this college, many technology companies offer internships like TCS, Wipro, and Accenture, and these types of companies are involved with the college. On this college campus, to participate, one condition is that 70 percent marks are required.
Infrastructure: This college has many companies and multiple facilities provided by the college, but hostel facilities are not provided by the college. In this college, the canteen food is very tasty and very neat and clean, and there are a total of 2 canteens for 5 departments of the college. This college organizes sports and games tournaments every year.
Faculty: The teachers in this college are very good and very helpful to the students. In this college, teachers explain the topics very deeply and are very knowledgeable. This course is a total of 1 to 2 years in duration and depends on the university. This course is very difficult to clear the exam because very tough questions are used in the exam paper.

Good Infrastructure and Facilities.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in our course is good. The highest package offered is 36 LPA, and the lowest package is 1.5 LPA. The average package is 6.5 LPA. Recruiting companies include TATA, L&T, Bosch, BHEL, and more. The percentage of students who got an internship from our course is 63%.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good in the college, and the infrastructure is amazing. They provide facilities such as Wi-Fi within the campus, well-equipped labs, and a library with books from all branches. However, the mess is not providing very good food. On the bright side, the canteen has good food, and sports are conducted.
Faculty: The faculty are helpful, qualified with masters and doctors. They are knowledgeable with more than 14 years of experience in the teaching field. The semester exams are easy if we study hard. The passing percentage is 83%. The course curriculum is relevant, and the students are made industry-ready.

Teachers, support and infrastructure are nice.
Placements: The placement rate has always been above 80%. The college helps with the internships but the focus is more on placement. The highest package offered was for 15 Lacs per annum and the average was around 8 Lacs per annum. Recruiters were companies like aerospace, automotive, etc.
Infrastructure: The hostels provide good quality facilities and the facilities include laundry service, veg & non-veg food, sports area, and medical care. The department has well-equipped labs, classroom with modern aid teaching facilities, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a central library.
Faculty: The faculty members are very well-known entities for their research expertise and contribution, they are supportive and approachable at the sam time and the teaching quality is really good. The curriculum covers the core concepts and helps in making a good foundation to be industry ready.

Best institute for Research scholars, the highest standerd of Teaching and Education.
Placements: Up to last year, placement scenario was not worth enough that the student even from the top institute were not satisfied with the job getting from the placement. Up to last year there was not any specific placement cell (there was placement coordinator, who used to contact the HR), Even though placement coordinator has other work from department itself, so he/she could't able to give full time to placement activities. Last year from my department, there were total 8to 9 students who were interested for job, and among them all got selected for job but average package was 8lpa. Now current scenario has been changed a lot. Specific placement cell (named OCCaP) as well permenant placement officer has been aloted to IISc. This year overall placement goes quite up from last year scenario and no of students got selected for good MNC's. In specific my department among 12 students, 11 students already placed, the highest package of 12.5lpa and average of 10lpa in Mechanical department and companies are coming for placement in current year.
Infrastructure: Specifically I can say about my department only for lab facilities and classrooms. In specific department of mechanical engineering, there are labs for every field including fluid mechanics and thermal (3to 4 labs for experimental work and 3to 4 lab for specific computational work) description of every lab has already given in website. All lab are well-equipped. Even there are multi media classrooms available for teaching purpose and conference hall for presentation for current work. There are 4 mess available (among 2 of pure veg mess one north and one south indian taste, other 2 of the same kind of having non veg). Other than these there are 3 canteens and 1 restaurant. Per person single room is aloted for the 90%to 95%students. In bychance if lack of hostel rooms there can be accommodated 2 student per one room (but rare case). And college itself shows complete packege of proper food, proper education, proper greenery campua, as well as proper life cycle corresponding of research student.
Faculty: As IISc is one of the best college in India, itself represent the highest standerd of qualified professors available in IISc, even from Standford, Caltech, Cambridge, Perdue, MIT such great college alumni, professors are here for teaching as well as research perspective.
Other: Event, Fest, Activities can be verified from college website.

The college is heaven for innovators and not too bad for jobseekers.
Placements: This institute is very much research oriented, and so are the students. Many students prefer going for higher studies or continue their research work over placements so judging IISc in the basis of placement won't be justified. Will just say, whosoever need a job get a decent job. The minimum 8 LPA packages with no bar on top packages which varies from 15-25 LPA CTC. In January, half of the students are placed, and all interested are expected to get jobs by March. The companies like Bajaj, Mahindra, Sapient razorfish, Airbus, etc., have recruited this time. In our batch internship was compulsory and all students got internships with institute and self-efforts. Many had multiple choices as well. The stipend at time of internship varied from unpaid to Rs. 15,000. The placement cell is new here but being rank 1 institute in India in HRD ministry ranking and other international rankings as well it gets good amount of companies interested. Alumni network is really good in this institute with people sitting on senior posts in respective companies all over the world.
Infrastructure: It gets more than 1000 crore funding from the government every year, so money is never an issue. The extra allowance is also granted according to the research field. This institute has three supercomputers including Param Padam ( India's the fastest). The high and supersonic wind tunnel, airstrip and many other setups found only here in India. Gymkhana is having sports facilities like archery, tennis, badminton, snooker, gym, basketball, volleyball, dedicated cricket, hockey and football ground along with indoor games like carrom, table tennis in hostels as well. 4 mess is there with separate veg and Nonveg mess. Free Wi-Fi facility is available in the whole campus. The complaint cell is responsive but might take time in resolving issues during admission months.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members here have done post graduation in foreign institutes ( up to 90%). The faculty members are PhD holders and expert in their field. They all stay in campus only so classes on weekends and late night are also common here. Mostly its powerpoint presentations and board study in classrooms along with guidance in lab sessions. In the mechanical department and all associate department, many industry research is going on currently. CPDM have a direct research collaboration with Boeing, Tata and many more. The coursework is very hectic and sleepless nights are very common.
Other: It has many techfests and a cultural fest Pravega. Unlike IITs and NIT, it quite soars and you won't get that much energy and enthusiasm here. Most of the students here are either research scholar or post graduate with a tiny strength of undergraduate. PhD students get 25-28 k scholarship, and Masters students get 12.4 k (except M.management). In Bachelors scholarship is conditional. The campus is huge more than 100 years old and also lies inside the city. Many socio-cultural groups are active here with regular events on festivals and national holidays along with trips and trekking out regularly.
