While for an Integrated MBA, students need a valid score in JEE Main exam, admission to UBS and UIAMS is subject to a valid score in CATor PU METexams, respectively. Students who wish to get into the specialisations or courses offered by UIAMS are required to appear for PU MET exam and those who wish to get into UBS are required to have a valid score in CAT exam.

Punjab University offers various Certificate, Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD programmes in multiple streams such as Business and Management Studies, Accounting and Commerce, Arts (Fine/ Visual/ Performing), Design, Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, Law, Medicine, and Health Sciences, and Science, and so on. Panjab University Admission Process and Important Dates 2026

Panjab University Chandigarh admission 2026 is entrance-based for a majority of its courses. PUCHD entrance exams are PU CET, PU UGLAW, PU LLB Entrance Exam, and PU MET. Students are required to go through the university-conducted/ national-level entrances and then appear for the university-level selection rounds for final admission. The Panjab University Chandigarh admission process is conducted via online registrations.

Candidates must fill out the PUCHD application form before the last date. After a successful application submission, candidates must appear for the entrance exam of the respective course, they opted for. Apart from appearing for the respective exams, candidates must enrol for the respective counselling program such as JAC Counselling for the admission to BTech. On the basis of merit or entrance score as well as counselling, candidates recieve the seat allotment. For the final admission, candidates must complete the remaining formality (if any) such as pay the fees and confirm the seat.
