The CLAT and AILET syllabi are not exactly the same, but they do share some common topics. Both exams test candidates on English, Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge, and Mathematics. However, there are some differences in the syllabus and exam pattern between the two exams.
AILET has a separate section for Mathematics, while CLAT does not have a dedicated math section. Additionally, AILET has a slightly different weightage for each section compared to CLAT. 2. Legal researcher
Legal researchers conduct research on legal issues and prepare legal documents. They may work for law firms, corporations, or government agencies.
To become a successful legal researcher, you will have to take the PhD in Law course after an LLM programme. However, if you want to go one step ahead and achieve mastery in legal research, you will have to earn and LLD degree.
3. Public prosecutor

No changes have been made in AILET yet, and it will be the same as last year syllabus. The major changes were made in AILET 2022 BA LLB and LLM syllabus only. For instance, the BA LLB question paper will now have only THREE sections (instead of five). The weightage of the three sections has also changed. In the case of LLM, the modified syllabus will have questions from two sections. Also, the tie-breaker procedure has been updated.
AILET 2026 question paper will carry 35 questions of one mark each for English. The section will be based on topics of General English and grammar as under:
