The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Hyderabad will start the AP LAWCET counselling 2025 tentatively in August, 2025. The admission and seat allotment process will be conducted in an online mode known as web-counselling.  AP LAWCET Counselling 2025

For admission to a colleges accepting AP LAWCET 2025, firstly, candidates will have to appear in the AP LAWCET 2025 counselling. They need to follow the steps mentioned below to particiapte in the counselling process: 

  • Visit the AP LAWCET 2025 portal, https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/LAWCET. Then, click on the "Admission" tab available on the homepage of portal. 
  • Click on the tab related to the colleges in which you want to apply for the admission to 5-year or 3-year LLB course. 
  •  Fill out the counselling application form and pay the counselling fee. 
  • Print your counselling application form for future reference. 
  • Register for the "web Options" (Web entry option). 
  • Download the provided "Seat Allotment Order."

Q:   How many marks do I need for admission to a college through AP LAWCET 2026?
A:

There is criterion of minimum marks requirement for admission to a college through Andhra Pradesh LAWCET for candidates belonging to SC and ST categories. However, candidates of General category must score a minimum of 35% marks (42 marks out of 120 marks) to get admission to a college based on their Andhra Pradesh LAWCET scores. 

The college allotted to the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET 2026 test-taker will depend on the following factors: 

  • Marks obtained by the candidate
  • Cut off of the participating college
  • Reservation criteria

Filling the AP LAWCET 2026 form not needed if planning only for National Law Universities (NLUs) or private colleges that take CLAT scores. But if aiming for law colleges in Andhra Pradesh, then the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET form must be filled. Both CLAT and AP LAWCET are different admission ways.
