MHCET LAW Admission 2026: Candidates who scored lower than expected in MHCET LLB 2026 exam should not lose hope. A low MHCET Law score does not mean the end of admission opportunities. Every year, several government-aided, private and regional law colleges in Maharashtra admit candidates with comparatively lower percentiles during later rounds of MH CET LLB Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
It must be noted that final admission through MHCET LAW depends on category, seat availability, reservation policy, candidate preferences and number of CAP rounds held. Candidates with non-zero scores are eligible to participate in MHCET Law counselling. They are advised to carefully fill in their college preferences.

Yes, but Government Law College (GLC) Mumbai and ILS Law College Pune usually close admissions at very high percentiles, many reputed colleges admit students with moderate or low scores during subsequent MHCET Law CAP rounds. Those belonging to reserved categories often have better admission opportunities due to category-wise seat allocation.

Yes, the CAP Counselling dates for 5 year LLB courses are out. Candidates could register until July 17, 2026. The final merit list for round 1 will be out on July 28.

The reporting time for the MHCET Law exam will be different for both the shifts. It is not yet out, however, the candidates will be required to reach the examination hall as per the time mentioned on the admit card. MH CET Law exam lasts for 2 hours. The test held online in computer-based mode. You must answer 150 questions in that time. Each question carries one mark, and there is no negative marking. Manage time well because once timer ends, paper auto submits.

General Knowledge (GK) is often said to be the hardest part of the MH CET Law exam because it's wide, changing, and not easy to predict. Current affairs are usually simpler to handle, but the static GK part that includes history, geography, and legal topics becomes tough for many students.
