Sometimes two students get same KLEE total marks in exam. CEE Kerala then decides rank with a fixed order. The student with higher score in Aptitude for Legal Studies gets a better rank. If the tie remains, the student with the higher score in General English gets the better rank. If the tie still remains, the older student by age is ranked higher.

Second |

|
Third |

The tie-breaker rule shows why Legal Studies and English are very important. They carry the most marks as well as decide ties. A strong score in these two sections can save your rank at a close boundary. So you should practise them daily. Do not treat them as normal sections. They can decide your seat in a government law college.
