Osmania University conducts the TS LAWCET.  The test is conducted for admission to the 3 Years / 5 Years LLB course offered in the Colleges of Law, Telangana. Candidates who are interested in pursuing law can appear for the TG LAWCET 2026. To appear for the Telangana State Law Common Entrace Test, candidates need to register online. The authority will release the TS LAW CET 2026 application form online. Candidates who fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions can fill out the form. The application process comprises registration, form filling, uploading an image and fee payment.  The steps to fill out the application form of TS LAWCET 2026 are mentioned below:

  1. Registration and payment of application fee - Candidates need to complete the TS LAWCET registration. After the registration, they have to pay the application fee. 
  2. Fill out the form - To fill out the TG LAWCET appplication form, candidates have to provide personal, academic, and contact details. Also, select a test centre.
  3. Upload documents - While filling the form, candidates have to upload the photograph and signature.

TS LAWCET Eligibility 2026

The authority will release the TS LAWCET 2026 eligibility criteria online. This is a minimum condition to appear for the test. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria of TS LAWCET 2026 can apply for the test. The eligibility criteria are mentioned below:

Five-Year LLB Course: 

  • Passed class 12 from a recognised board of education. 
  • Obtained 45% marks (42% for reserved candidates) in aggregate. 
  • No age limit to apply for TG LAWCET.

Three-Year LLB Course: 

  • Graduated from a recognised college or university. 
  • Obtained 45% marks (42% for the reserved category) in aggregate.
  • There is no age limit.

TS LAWCET 2026 Admission Process

Admission to the 3-year / 5 years LLB course is based on the rank of TS LAWCET.  Interested candidates need to apply for the exam online. The authority will issue the hall ticket to the registered candidates. Those who qualify in the exam have to participate in the TS LAWCET counselling process for admission to the colleges of law in Telangana.

TS LAWCET Counselling 2026

Candidates who qualify the TS LAWCET can participate in the counselling for admission to the participating institutions. TG LAWCET counselling is done online. Students must register online to participate. The counselling process consists of registration, document verification, web option entry, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted institute. Follow the steps given below for the TS LAWCET counselling:

  1. TSLAWCET Registration - The eligible candidates will have to register for counseling at the college's website or theTGCHE website, lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in
  2. Document Verification Process - The verification of documents will be conducted at college allocated to the candidates during the counseling 
  3. Registered Candidates List - Once the candidates confirm their seat at the allocated college, the list of candidates shortlisted during the counselling process will be published on the TGCHE official website
  4. Exercise of Web Options - This step is meant for candidates to select the choice of colleges for admission during the Phase 1 & 2 counselling only. 
  5. Seat Allotment Process- This will be based on the merit of the candidate and colleges picked at the time of choice filling
  6. Reporting at the Allotted College - Candidates whose names appear in the allotment list will have to visit the institute and confirm their seats by paying the admission fee

TGCHE will release the Phase 2 TS LAWCET seat allotment list on September 22, 2025. The TS LAWCET 2025 first seat allotment list was released on August 29, 2025 on the TGCHE official website. Candidates whose names will appear in the list will then have to appear and report to the alloted college as per the official schedule. Candidates will be required to carry the important documents for verification and confrimation of seat.
