The eligibility criteria for all these courses depends on the level and the college of the course. But every candidate should Class 12 with 50% score in any stream.

  • With a minimum of 40% aggregate score (including English and Languages) and 50% marks in the cognate or major subject.
IIMC New Delhi
  • A bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
  • With CUET-PG score and no maximum age limit.
Amity School of Communication
  • A bachelor's degree from a recognized university. 
  • Class 12 with English as a mandatory subject and in aggregate percentage of class 12, Physical Education/Fine Arts/Performing Arts/vocational/nonwritten subjects will only be considered for respective disciplines.
UNIPUNE
  • A bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
  • Final year students can also apply on a provisional basis.

  • A bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate score.
  • 45% minimum aggregate for ST and SC categories.
  • With SIMC MA (MC) Entrance Test score.

Syllabus for Mass Communication and Media Admission 2025 

Entrance Exams Exam Syllabus
CUET Syllabus The CUET paper is divided into 3 sections: Language, Domain Subject, and General Test. The exam is MCQ-based, and the syllabus is based on NCERT Class 12.
CUET-PG Syllabus The CUET PG syllabus consists of only domain-specific topics.
JMI Entrance Exam Syllabus The JMI entrance exam syllabus differs based on the course level. It includes two sections: Section A has objective-type questions, and Section B has descriptive questions. The exam is followed by an interview and an exam portfolio round.
