Common Management Admission Test or CMAT 2019 is scheduled to be held on January 27, 2019. The online entrance exam for management admission is conducted at various centers across 75 cities of India.
The application dates have been announced for CMAT 2019. The registrations will begin from October 22, 2018 and end on December 15, 2018. The closing date of CMAT 2019 registrations may be extended depending on the number of applications received and other factors.
CMAT 2019 admit cards are expected to be issued 15 days before the exam and the CMAT 2019 results are expected to be announced in the first week of February, 2019.
Any candidate who is a Graduate in any discipline or equivalent from a recognized university can apply for CMAT 2019. Final year students of Graduate Courses (10+2+3) are also eligible to apply. CMAT exam is for Indian nationals only.

Here’s how to apply for CMAT 2019:
CMAT 2019 application forms will be available from October 22, 2018 on the official website Of CMAT and NTA. To apply for CMAT 2019, candidates will be required to register as new user. On successful registration, a login ID will be shared which can be used for all login purposes.
Once you’ve registered successfully, you will be required to login to fill the application form. Use the shared login ID and password for filling the online application form.
The candidates will be given the option to choose three test cities for their preferred test centers. While filling the application form, they need to three cities (test venues) for online examination in the order of preference.
Thereafter, candidates will be allotted test centres on “first come first served” basis. Actual allotment, however, will be subject to availability of the slots in a particular city.
Mode of Payment
Candidates can pay the application fee via Net Banking / Credit / Debit Card or can opt for Cash Payment through challan generated online and cash deposited in any branch of State Bank of India (SBI).
Test Fee
Test fees for General and OBC candidates is Rs 1400 + Bank charges, while for SC/ST/PD candidates it is Rs 700 + Bank charges.
Points to keep in mind while applying:
- Fill all the fields with correct information
- Do not leave any field marked mandatory, empty
- Check all the information entered before submitting. Once submitted the form cannot be edited
- Upload a recent passport sized photo of self and a copy of scanned signature

Yes, it is important to practice sectional mock tests as the exam has no time limit for each section, unlike CAT. Sectional mocks will help you in have a practice of solving each section in a time bound manner.

In the last week of CMAT 2027 you should practice only one mock test, that too to stay in the online test mode. You must not attempt multiple tests and rather spend time on revision.

Yes, candidates will need to have a valid Aadhaar number to register for CMAT exam. Until last year, candidates could use other photo IDs too to register for the exam.
