CMAT 2025 exam is set to be held on January 25, 2025. Candidates who are going to appear in the exam must keep in mind important dos and don'ts for the exam day and test centre. Read below important CMAT dos and don'ts.
CMAT exam 2025 will be conducted in computer based test mode at designated examination centres of the NTA. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the exam with full security and safety measures. Candidates will have to follow certain guidelines prescribed by the NTA for conduct of the exam in a systemic manner without any disruption. CMAT 2025 exam is scheduled on January 25, 2025. The exam will be held in two slots. So now is the time to start preparing for the big day. Candidates must ensure they are well aware of the dos and don’ts of the CMAT exam day as any mistake by the candidate may put their candidature at risk.

CMAT 2025 Exam: Key Dos and Don’ts
The most important ‘do’ for CMAT exam is to reach the test centre at the reporting time mentioned on the CMAT 2025 admit card. And the most important ‘don’t’ is to not cheat or resort to illegal means of appearing in the exam. Read below for more CMAT exam day dos and don’ts.
CMAT 2025 Dos
- Download and read the advisory given in the CMAT 2025 admit card and strictly adhere to the guidelines.
- Candidates must carry two copies of their admit card (photo affixed on it), a valid ID card and blue ball-point pen. Digital copy of the documents will not be accepted as valid.
- PwD candidates must carry PwD certificate issued by a competent authority
- After entering the CMAT 2025 exam venue, maintain order and follow the instructions given by the test centre staff.
- Inside the examination hall, sit at their designated system and wait for invigilator’s instruction before logging in to the system.
- Candidates will get paper for rough work in the exam hall. They must write their name and roll number on the top of it and must drop it in the designated drop box.
- They must ensure they enter correct application number and date of birth as user ID. Login password will be given to each candidate in the exam hall.
- Drop one copy of the duly filled CMAT 2025 admit card in the designated drop box before leaving the examination centre. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of candidature.
CMAT 2025 Don’ts
- Do not reach the CMAT exam centre late. No candidate will be allowed to take the test once the gates have been closed.
- If you have been alloted the morning slot (9:00 am to 12:00 pm), reach before 8 am.
- If you have been allotted the afternoon shift (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm), reach before 1:30 pm.
- Don’t try to leave the exam hall before the test gets over. No candidate will be allowed to leave the test lab before the announcement for exit has been made.
- Don’t cheat or try unfair means to appear for the test. Any candidate caught doing so will be barred from the exam.
- Do not carry any electronic item to the CMAT exam centre. No phone, watch, earphones, or any such items are prohibited inside the exam venue.
- Do not wear shoes with thick soles and garment with big buttons. Also, do not wear any type of metal jewellery or accessory.
- Do not carry valuables or bags to the exam centre as there will be no bag deposit window at the exam centre.
