CMAT 2026 exam will be held on January 25, 2026. With just a week to go for the exam. Candidates must now prepare for the exam day. Know key dos and don’ts of the exam day here.
CMAT 2026 exam is will be conducted on January 25, 2026 in computer based test mode at various test centres in over 124 cities across India. The exam will be held in CCTV vigil and candidates will be required to follow certain guidelines during the exam to avoid disqualification. For fair conduct of the exam, NTA follows certain rules which includes prohibition of certain items and activities. CMAT 2026 aspirants must know the key dos and don’ts of the exam so that they are not caught in an unfavourable situation on the exam day.
CMAT Dos
- Carry two copies of the CMAT 2026 admit card on exam day, in A4 size paper. Affix a recent passport size photo on it.
- Carry the original copy of a valid photo ID card for identification purpose.
- Reach the examination centre as per the reporting time on exam day.
- Carry a passport size photo, preferably the one uploaded in CMAT application form 2026, to paste on attendance sheet.
- PwD candidates must carry PwD certificate and scribe certificate issued by a competent authority
- Cooperate with test centre staff during identification and verification process.
- Aim to complete the test 10 minutes before the exam, so that you can review your answers.
- Drop the sheet given to you for rough work in the drop box before leaving the test centre.
CMAT Don’ts
- Do not reach the CMAT exam centre Gates will be closed 30 minutes before exam commencement.
- Do not carry electronic items such as phone, watch, earphone, Bluetooth device, etc. and wear any accessory having metal.
- Do not carry bags and valuables. There will be no option to deposit bags at the test centre.
- Don’t leave the test hall before the exit process start.
- Don’t cheat or try unfair means to appear for the test. You can be disqualified.
