OJEE 2026 exam day guidelines: OJEE exam 2026 was conducted in CBT test format from May 4, 2026, to May 10, 2026. The exam will be held online at different exam centres in about 39 test cities. Candidates have to visit the OJEE exam centre to take the exam. They should carry their OJEE exam 2026 admit card to gain entry to the exam centre. Students also need to carry a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre for verification. OJEE 2026 Exam: What to Carry
Candidates have to carry the following things and documents to the OJEE exam centre on the exam day:
- OJEE admit card 2026
- Any one valid Photo ID proof such as, Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Ration Card, Passport, PAN Card, etc.
- Passport photo of candidate
- Black or blue point pen
- Transparent water bottle

No, OJEE exam will only be conducted in computer-based test mode. Earlier, OJEE was held in two modes computer-based test mode or online and paper-based test mode or offline, but 2019 onwards OJEE exam is being held in online mode only. There is also no provision of offline fee payment either. Candidates must note that OJEE registration is also an online process. The students need to visit the OJEE exam centre in order to take the OJEE exam. Candidates will be required to mark the correct answer by choosing the radio bullet against the right option given on the screen. Candidates will be given four options for each question and they will be required to choose the right one on the screen.
The OJEE Board releases the OJEE counselling notification online on the website, ojee.nic.in. The OJEE counselling process has started on June 20, 2025.
Candidates who qualify the OJEE exam will be eligible to participate in the OJEE counselling process. The qualifying candidates have to complete the OJEE counselling registration online once the registration window opens. The registration process for OJEE counselling comprises registration, choice filling & locking, seat allotment, and reporting to the nodal centre. The authority will release OJEE counselling 2025 schedule online. The registration window will be open for approximately a month and the students can lock their choices and get the document verification done after the final seat allotment process is complete.
The OJEE exam has four sections which have multiple-choice questions. The sectional weightage of each section of the OJEE question paper is the same. Each question carries four marks. For incorrect answers, one mark each is deducted. Therefore, the total marks for each section is 120 marks. The total marks in OJEE are 480. The detailed OJEE sectional weightage is given below
- Quantitative Techniques: 30 questions (120 marks)
- Verbal reasoning and Comprehension: 30 questions (120 marks)
- Analytical and Logical Reasoning: 30 questions (120 marks)
- General Awareness and Business Fundamentals: 30 questions (120 marks)
- Do not arrive late to OJEE exam centre.
- Do not forget to carry coloured printouts of OJEE admit card.
- Do not carry prohibited items including electronic devices, study material, bags, to exam centre
- Do not engage in malpractice
OJEE 2026 Exam Day Guidelines: What Not to Carry
Students should not carry the following to the exam centre. If they are found with it, they may be barred from the exam:
- Electronic devices such as mobile phone, tablets, laptops, earphones, Bluetooth devices, smart watches, etc.
- Bags. OJEE exam centre will not have any provision of keeping the bags
- Study material or books
- Rough papers or sheets for calculations
- Stationery other than ball point pen
OJEE 2026 Shift Timings and Reporting Time
OJEE 2026 exam will be conducted in multiple shifts. Students should reach at least an hour before the exam begins. For instance, Shift 1 OJEE exam will begin at 9:00 AM, so the candidates should reach the centre maximum by 8:00 AM. The gates will close at 8:30 AM. No, there is no application fee concession in the OJEE exam. Candidates who register for the OJEE exam by filling the application form need to pay an application fee of INR 1000 for the primary programme. For each subsequent programme, they need to pay an application fee of INR 500. This means, if the student is appearing for MBA as well as MCA, then they need to pay INR 1000 as the base fee and INR 500 for the additional course. Hence, the total application fee turns out to be INR 1500.

OJEE exam day dos:
- Reach OJEE exam centre at least an hour before exam time.
- Carry two copies of the OJEE admit card, photographs and one photo ID card (original and photocopy)

- Carry a blue/black ball point pen for signing attendance sheet

Follow the below mentioned OJEE exam day instructions and guidelines:
- Candidates should reach the exam centre at least an hour before the exam starts. Latecomers will not be allowed to enter
- Students should carry all the documents including the OJEE 2026 admit card. Photo ID proof is required for verification process at exam centre
- Candidates should not carry prohibited items to the exam centre mentioned above. They will not be allowed to enter under any circumstances.
- Candidates must read the instructions given on the OJEE question paper 2026 properly and carefully. While attempting the OJEE exam paper, candidates must remain calm and confident to be able to fetch a good score.
- Do not spend too much time on one question, if you can’t solve it within a minute, leave it and move on to the next question.
- There is a negative marking in the OJEE exam, so, candidates should use the technique of elimination. Candidates should not attempt all the questions as students can end up loosing marks.
- Do not engage in malpractice, if any students is caught using unfair means, they will not be allowed to take the exam.

Candidates will know their allotted OJEE exam centre only from OJEE admit card. There is no way to know the test centre before the release of the OJEE admit card.

Students can check OJEE 2026 eligibility below:
- Students who hold a graduation degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university can apply for OJEE.
- Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for OJEE.
- There is no age bar to apply for OJEE exam 2026

OJEE registration fee is not refundable. Once OJEE application fee is paid, the amount will not be returned even if students does not take the exam.
