JIPMER eligibility criteria 2020 will be announced by the Institute along with the official admission notification in the first week of March 2020. The eligibility criteria of JIPMER 2020 prescribes the age limit for the candidates who wish to apply for the entrance test. JIPMER eligibility criteria 2020 also sets the minimum qualification required to appear for the entrance test. It is important that a candidate goes through the eligibility criteria of JIPMER 2020 before registering for the entrance test. Eligibility Criteria of JIPMER 2020

A candidate should fulfill the below-mentioned parameters of the JIPMER eligibility criteria 2020 to be able to appear for the entrance test:

JIPMER 2020 Eligibility Criteria: Nationality

• Candidate should be an Indian National or Overseas Citizen of India.

JIPMER Eligibility Criteria 2020: Age limit

• He/ she should have completed at least 17 years of age as on before 31st December 2020
• JIPMER has not prescribed any upper age limit

Minimum Qualification required as per the JIPMER eligibility criteria 2020

• Candidate must have passed Higher / Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher / Senior Secondary Examination.
• Candidates appearing for 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2020 are also eligible to apply for JIPMER 2020, provided they can submit the result of the qualifying examination by the first round of JIPMER counselling.

• He/she must have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology and English as core subjects.
• Candidate must have passed individually in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology and English
• Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination other than those mentioned in Annexure – I will have to submit an Eligibility Certificate.  This Certificate can be obtained from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.

JIPMER eligibility criteria 2020: Minimum marks required in the qualifying examination

• He/ she must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology at the qualifying examination for general/ EWS category.
• He/ she must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology at the qualifying examination for general PWD category.
• He/ she must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 40% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Bio-technology at the qualifying examination for SC/ ST/ OBC category.
