Pharmacy practice is a postgraduate degree. It is all about training students to become pharmacists in the future. The duration of this course is 2 years. You must have a UG degree in Pharmacy with a minimum. score of 40% to 50% marks. The admission formalitites can take place both ways - online and offline. The admission to this course can take place through entrances as well as merit.
Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, students in the Pharmacy programme learn about basic principles and methods for making and distributing medications in hospitals and pharmacies.
MPharm Pharmacy Practice: What is it About?
The M.Pharmacy course in Pharmacy Practice focuses on developing students' practical and theoretical knowledge of pharmacy and the ability to evaluate the quality of pharmaceuticals, both traditional and modern, via hands-on experience and classroom instruction.
- Healthcare facilities and pharmaceutical companies; drug research and development; marketing; clinical trials research; drug regulations; sales; drug control administration; etc. are all possible career options for MPharm graduates who possess this degree.
- Students learn how to securely use pharmaceutical items, as well as how to prepare and dispense medications.
- In addition to producing medications, they also counsel both patients and medical professionals on how to use them, as well as the risks and benefits associated with various dosages and regimens, as well as the dietary restrictions that may be necessary when taking certain medications

MPharm Pharmacy Practice: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the MPharm in Pharmacy Practice programme, you must meet the following requirements.
- A minimum aggregate of at least 45 per cent - 50 per cent marks from a recognised and approved Board by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) OR any of its counterparts from recognised and recognised institutions by PCI is required for interested candidates.
- Some schools and universities may also consider a student's specific grade in each course, while others may rely solely on an applicant's score on the admission exam..
Pharmacy Practice Entrance Exam
The applicant who successfully passes the entrance exam is chosen to proceed to the personal interview or group discussion phases of the admissions process.

Scope in Pharmacy Practice
The applicant may submit applications for a variety of employment with various Pharmaceutical businesses and industries. He or she has the option of continuing their education at medical schools or applying for positions with hospitals, private practitioners, the pharmaceutical industry, etc. The potential candidate can also obtain a pharmacy licence.
The qualified applicants may also pursue other specialities, such as a B.Ed. programme if they wish to teach, or a PhD in pharmacy.
