SEED Admit Card 2027 - The Admit card for SEED Entrance Exam is released for B.Des and M.Des in rounds. The admit card is released online on the website of Symbiosis Institute of Design. The admit card window opens in January and is open for one week.
On the day of SEED 2027 written exam, candidates are asked to bring their admit card. The admit card contains details like the date and time of the exam, roll number, and exam-day details.

SEED First Merit List for B.Des will be announced in April. The merit list for M.Des will be announced in May.
The call letters for the personal interview (PRPI admit card) will be issued in the last week of March. The admit card will be issued only to candidates who complete the slot booking process.
SEED Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) is conducted in two phases. Phase I will be conducted in March. Phase 2 will be conducted in April. Candidates will be notified of the next phase in which they have to appear.
Documents to carry with SEED Admit Card
Along with SEED admit card, candidates need to carry a valid photo ID proof on the day of the entrance test. “An authorized person from the Symbiosis International University will verify and authenticate your Admit Card against the photo ID on the test day. The candidate needs to preserve the admit card until the admission process is over.

Yes, you need to participate in the SEED counselling even if you are a topper of Class 12 boards exam. Admission to Symbiosis Institute of Design is offered through SEED entrance exam.
SEED Entrance Exam is of 60 minutes and will have 60 questions. The test will be conducted online in computer based mode. The test will be of one hour long and will be conducted between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on the test day.
To upload portfolio for SEED PRPI 2026:
- Click good quality pictures of these and compile them in a Power Point Presentation of maximum of 15 slides.
- Convert this into a PDF of up to 5 Mb.
- Take pictures that are different from others. Do not copy others.
SEED Exam Day Instructions
Candidates should follow the guidelines to appear for the exam:
- Take a copy of SEED admit card 2027
- Students must compulsorily carry SEED hall ticket at the time of giving exam. Candidate will not be allowed to appear for exam without admit card. The exam will be held online.
- Check details on admit card carefully. Candidate shall immediately contact officials in case of any error.
- Along with admit card, the candidate must carry any of valid identity proofs such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving Licence, Voter ID Card, Passport

Here are a few important FAQs related to SEED 2027 admit card and exam.
Yes, Candidates seeking admission to the B.Desprogrammeneed to compulsory appear in the SEED 2026 exam. The scores of the SEED exam will be next shortlisted for a Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction round. Note that the final merit list will be prepared by considering the cumulative performance of the candidate in the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), Portfolio Review, PRPI Task, and Personal Interaction (PRPI).
So, any candidate who appears in the SEED but doesn’t appear in the PRPI will not be considered for admission.
The B.Des is a 4-year course carrying 160 credits.
The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) offers a Bachelor of Design (B. Des) of four years duration. Admission to the course is conducted through the SEED entrance exam and PRPI rounds. The fee structure for the B.Des programme is given in the table below.

The call letters for the personal interview (PRPI admit card) will be issued in the last week of March 2026. The admit card will be issued only to candidates who complete the slot booking process.
Note that hard copies of the call letter are sent to the candidate.

As per information on SID website, the institute does not promote or is aware of any coaching classes/preparatory classes. The slot booking process of SEED 2026 for the Personal Interaction was open from March 28th, 2026 to March 31st, 2026 (Tuesday). It was open on SID website.
