The Bar Council of India (BCI) has released the list of exam centres on allindiabarexamination.com. AIBE Exam Date is June 7, 2026. It will be held in pen-and-paper mode. Candidates need to reach their AIBE test centre an hour before the exam starts. The duration of the examination is 3 hours, during which candidates will not be permitted to leave the exam centre before the completion of the test. Q:   What if I'm not able to download the AIBE hall ticket?
A: 

Candidates will have to carry their AIBE hall ticket to the test centres. In case they are not able to download the admit card, try switching between the browsers. You can also try to access the admit card after some time. 

Q:   Is there negative marking in AIBE?
A: 

No, there is no negative marking in the All India Bar Examination (AIBE).  For each correct answer, one marks will be given. But for wrong or unattempted question no marks will be deducted.

Q:   What happens if AIBE application is incomplete?
A: 

An incomplete AIBE application will cause disqualification from appearing in the exam. If you have not filled the form completely, your form will not be considered complete.

Candidates appearing for the AIBE Exam must ensure that they check the AIBE 21 Exam Day Guidelines 2026 to avoid any problem at the test centre. Candidates can check list of items allowed and not allowed below:

Important Documents to Carry 

AIBE admit card is a mandatory document. Along with the admit card, students must carry any of the following photo ID proofs:

Q:   How can I download the CoP of AIBE Exam?
A: 

The candidates can download their Certificate of Practice (CoP) from the link given on the official portal. The candidates can get their CoP by logging with their Enrollment number.

Q:   Can I prepare for AIBE Exam in one month?
A: 

If you have topped while pursuing law there is still some chance. But if you were an average student who have not prepared even once for the exam, it is next to impossible to prepare for the exam in one month. 

Q:   How to obtain the CoP after clearing AIBE exam?
A: 

Candidates who will successfully pass the AIBE exam will be issued the CoP by BCI. The qualified candidates will have to collect their Certificate of Practice from their respective State Bar Councils. It is a mandatory document to practice Law in India.

Instructions for AIBE XXI (21) exam centres 2026-27

To make sure the examination process is tension free, candidates who will be appearing for the AIBE 20 Exam 2025 must follow following instructions-

  • Important documents: carry the admit card as issued by BCI for appearing in the AIBE examination along with a valid photo ID proof. 
  • Reporting Time and Entry Rules: Candidates should report to their test centres at least an hour before the scheduled exam timings.
  • Prohibited and allowed items: The candidates will be allowed to carry the Bare Acts without short notes or comments along with some stationery items such as two pens and HB pencils.
  • Carefully read the Answer Sheet Instructions before attempting the exam.
  • Candidates with Disabilities must check the instructions released for them by the Bar Council of India.

The total score in the AIBE is 100 marks, consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions. For each correct answer candidate will be awarded 1 mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
