SNAP 2021 test takers must have Aarogya Setu App on their phones to gain entry to the SNAP test centre. Check all important COVID-19 and social distancing norms to be followed on SNAP exam day.

SNAP 2021 test day guide for COVID-19

SNAP 2021, Session 3 is scheduled on January 16. With the rise in COVID-19 cases due to the third wave of the pandemic, it is even more critical for candidates to follow COVID-19 guidelines at the exam centres. They must familiarise themselves with the COVID-19 guidelines to be followed at the test centres. The examination conducting body has issued these guidelines beforehand to ensure safety of the candidates. The first attempt of SNAP 2021 exam was conducted at various test centres in 94 cities from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on December 19. The second session was held on January 8 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The third session of SNAP exam will also be conducted from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Read below SNAP 2021 test day guidelines and COVID-19 SOPs.

COVID-19: Items to Carry to the SNAP Test Centre

SNAP 2021 test takers are required to carry the following item to the test centre. Any item other than these is prohibited inside the exam venue.

  • Colour print out of SNAP 2021 admit card
  • Photo ID such as Voter ID card, Passport, Driving License, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card
  • Black/blue ball point pen
  • Face mask
  • Gloves
  • Hand sanitizer (50 ml)
  • Drinking water in a transparent water bottle

Candidates must note that baggage counter at the test centre is subject to availability. Thus, they should preferably not carry bags or other belongings on the exam day.

Candidate Reporting at the SNAP Test Centre

On the day of SNAP 2021 exam, candidates must follow the following instructions:

  • Report at the test centre on time as mentioned on SNAP admit card (latest by 1:30 PM for first day exam)
  • While waiting to enter the SNAP test centre, stand in a queue on the floor marks outside gate
  • As part of Identification process your photograph will be captured at the test centre. Allow
  • Wear a mask and maintain a safe distance from other students and test centre staff
  • Strictly avoid overcrowding and maintain social distancing at all times
  • Adhere to the announcements made by the security guard
  • Keep the documents ready for verification at the entrance of the test centre

COVID-19: Check at the SNAP Test Centre Entry

At the entrance gate, all the candidates are required to allow the security guard to check body temperature by a thermos gun. Other instruction to follow are mentioned below:

  • Show your SNAP 2021 admit card and original ID proof to the security guard at the entrance from a safe distance
  • Display your status on the Aarogya Setu app to the security guard from a safe distance
  • Candidates will not be allowed for the SNAP test if their temperature is showing above 99.14 degree Fahrenheit or status on the Aarogya Setu app showing as “Medium” or “High Risk”

Guidelines to Follow During SNAP Test-Process

  • Sanitize your hands before and after putting the signature on attendance sheet, if required
  • The exam will be conducted under CCTV surveillance thus do not indulge in any form of malpractice
  • Maintain social distance at all times inside the test lab
  • Use the pen you’ve brought for any rough work on the provided sheets
  • In case of an emergency to use the washroom during test, inform the invigilator in the lab
  • You’ll be accompanied by a volunteer till the washroom entrance and back to the seat

Guidelines to Follow Post SNAP Test

  • Drop exception form in the drop box kept in the lab before leaving
  • Drop rough sheets in a separate drop box kept in the lab before leaving
  • Follow social distancing and other guidelines being announced to ensure proper movement
  • Do not dispose the used masks and gloves anywhere near the exam centre; dispose them once you reach home
