UGC NET 2024 Jan 8 Analysis: The National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully conducted the December cycle exam on January 8, 2025 in two shifts. Check student reactions, difficulty level of the exam, memory-based questions and answers, etc. below based on the feedback received from the students'. With the help of analyais, candidates can predict, regarding the cutoff, whether it will rise or drop. The UGC NET 2024 Syllabus consists of two parts: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 has 50 multiple-choice questions, and Paper 2 has 100 subject-specific questions. No. Once the admit card is released, candidate will not be able to change the exam centre in any circumstances. The exam centre mentioned on the hall ticket is final. No. A candidate will not receive the UGC NET City Intimation Slip by post. The authority will release the City slip on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates required their login credentials to download the city slip including the application number and date of birth.

Yes. It is important for a candidate to carry the UGC NET admit card to the examination centre. Without it, candidate will not be allowed to sit in the exam. It consists of the details like name of a candidate, photograph, shift, reporting time, exam day instructions, etc.

The NTA released the UGC NET 2026 notification and so the application process dates have been announced for the June session. The application dates are April 29 to May 20, 2026.

Yes, the National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the UGC NET exam twice in a year in two sessions namely June and December session. Candidates can give the exam unlimited times.
