The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is conducting IBPS RRB PO 2020 exam on September 12 and 13. This year due to COVID-19 pandemic, the examination authority had increased the number of shifts. The exam is conducted in five shifts whereas last year it was conducted in four shifts. Adequate arrangements due to COVID-19 were made at the exam centres. The security guards ensured that all candidates wore a mask. The temperature of candidates was recorded through thermal screening. Inside the exam hall, the seats were sanitised and candidates were made to sit at a distance of six feet from another person. Before candidates were allowed entry, the security guards checked whether they had Aarogya Setu app installed on their mobile phones or not. Candidates had to carry a self-declaration as per the format given by IBPS.

Candidates had appeared in IBPS RRB PO exam amid the fear of COVID-19, however, they were happy with the arrangements made at the exam centres. IBPS RRB normalisation of marks is done since the exam is conducted in multiple shifts. This is followed to adjust the difficulty level of the questions across various sessions. The result and cut off are decided based on normalisation.
