State Bank of India is conducting the SBI PO 2023 Prelims exam to fill up a more than 2000 vacancies for the post of Probationary Officers (POs). According to students, the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate. The English section was easy, Reasoning section was easy to moderate, Maths was moderate to difficulty and lengthy. In English, questions were asked from Articles, Passage, Jumbled Words, Sentence Rearrangement, etc. In Reasoning, questions were asked from Syllogism, Puzzle, Seating Arrangement, Blood Relation, etc. In Maths, questions were asked from Arithmetic, Mensuration, DI, Algebra, etc. SBI PO cut off is expected to be around 60.
Candidates qualifying the prelims exam of SBI PO will be called for the mains exam. SBI PO prelims result 2023 is expected to be announced in the second week of November. On the basis of SBI PO result of the prelims exam, candidates 10 times the number of vacancies will be selected for the mains exam of SBI PO. The mains exam of SBI PO 2023 will be conducted on December 2023/ January 2024.

Aman Singh said, “The Maths paper was difficult. The Reasoning and English was good. In Maths questions were asked from DI, Caselets. In Reasoning, questions were asked from Puzzles. The English was easy. The cut off is expected to be around 58.”
Utkarsh said, “The overall difficulty level of the paper was tough. The English was easy. The Reasoning and Maths paper was tough. In Maths, questions were asked from Arithematic, DI, etc.”

Yes. There is negative marking in the SBI PO exam in both Prelims and Mains for the objective-type questions. For every wrong answer 0.25 marks or 1/4th marks are deducted but for un attempted or skipped questions none of the marks are deducted.

The application fee for the SBI PO exam varies or differs as per the categories. For General and OBC category it is INR 750 and for SC/ST/PwBD there is no fee it is exempted.
