SSC MTS 2023 Exam Analysis May 4 Shift 1 - General Knowledge Questions

The Staff Selection Commission changed the SSC MTS exam pattern altogether. The Commission removed the Paper 2 (descriptive) from the selection process. Now there are only two stages in the SSC MTS exam. These are mentioned below:
- SSC MTS Paper 1
- PET/PST for Havaldar Posts
The Document Verification process will be carried out by the indenting user department. In addition to above, the Commission changed the SSC MTS Paper 1 exam pattern and removed negative marking from the Numerical and Mathematical Ability and Reasoning Ability and Problem-Solving section.
SSC MTS 2023 Tier 1 exam (for the 2022 session) was conducted in May and June. The candidates who appeared in the SSC MTs exam shared their feedback with SHiksha.com. The Staff Selection Commission has activated the SSC MTS & Havaldar Exam Slot Selection Facility on January 16 on its official website - ssc.gov.in. The Staff Selection Commission will conduct the SSC MTS Tier 1 exam online from February 4, 2026. The Commission will start the slot selection facility from January 15, 2026. The admit card will be released by February 1, 2026.

Yes, the Staff Selection Commission has increased the SSC MTS & Havaldar Vacancies through a public notice released at ssc.gov.in. The Commission revised the vancies and increased them to 7,948 from 5,464.
