UGC NET December 2019 exam is over now. National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully conducted the exam was from December 2-6 at 700 centres across the country. Total 10,34,872 candidates registered and 7,93,813 aspirants took the UGC NET December 2019 exam.
Currently, the agency has released the provisional UGC NET 2019 answer key on December 10. How to Check UGC NET Answer Key?
Candidates can check UGC NET answer key on the official website of the exam by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Log on to the official website of UGC NET - http://ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the link, ‘View Question Paper & Challenge Provisional Answer Key’.
Step 3: Click on any one of the links mentioned below:
- Through application number and password
- Through application number and date of birth
Step 4: Enter the details mentioned below:
- Application number
- Password/date of birth
- Security pin as visible on the screen
Step 5: Click on the ‘Sign In’ button.
Step 6: View, download and save the UGC NET answer key.
How to Check UGC NET Answer Key if Forgot Application Number?
In case, candidates forget their application number, required to download the answer key, they can re-generate it by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Follow the first three steps mentioned above.
Step 2: Click on the “Forgot Application No.?” link.
Step 3: Enter the details mentioned below:
- Name
- Father’s name
- Mother’s name
- Date of birth
- Security pin as shown on the screen
Step 4: Click on ‘Get Application Number’ button.
The application number will be re-generated, which candidates can then use to login into their accounts and check the UGC NET 2019 answer key.
How to Challenge UGC NET Answer Key?
In case, candidates find any answer given in the key incorrect, they can challenge it by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Login into the registered account using the steps mentioned above.
Step 2: Click on the link available for challenging the answer key.
Step 3: Select the correct answer option ID for the question for which challenge/claim needs to be made.
Step 4: Click on the button, ‘Save Your Claims’.
Step 5: Upload the document supporting your claimed answer.
Step 6: Click on ‘Save Your Claims & Pay Fee’ button.
Step 7: Pay Rs 1,000 per question as answer key challenge fee in online mode.
