BBAU had commenced the PG admission process with the start of CUET PG registration. Candidates aspiring for BBAU PG admissions had to appear for CUET PG exam between March 11 and 28, followed by applying at the BBAU website.
BBAU Admission through CUET PG: Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow, offers PG admissions through CUET PG exam. BBAU offers as many as 49 courses at the main campus, Lucknow and 2 courses at Satellite Centre, Amethi. BBAU admission requires the candidates to get the CUET PG passing marks, followed by registration at BBAU portal. After registration and locking the course at the online portal, the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow releases course wise CUET PG merit list for admissions.

No, there is no provision to get direct admission in MBA at BBAU. BBAU MBA admission is strictly based on the score obtained in the CAT exam. Candidates willing to take admission in MBA at BBAU must fulfil the conditions given below:
- The candidate must possess a UG degree with a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved categories).
- Candidate must take the CAT exam and try to obtain a good percentile.
- Candidates whose rank is above the closing rank mentioned in the cut-off list released by BBAU should register further for the counselling process, followed by document verification and fee payment.

NOTE:
- 50 per cent admissions to the MBA course will be based on the CAT exam merit, while the 50 per cent admissions at BBAU will be based on CUET PG
- Separate application forms are issued for admission through CAT. However, candidate are allowed to apply through both CAT and CUET PG
- M.Pharm. courses offered by BBAU are approved by the Pharmacy Council of India. Candidates with a valid GPAT exam score will get a GPAT fellowship from UGC, New Delhi.
CUET PG Merit List for BBAU Admissions
Soon after the declaration of CUET PG results, BBAU releases the course-wise merit list for admissions. Candidates who register through BBAU portal will get their names included in the CUET PG merit list. BBAU will publish the course wise CUET PG merit list on the official website, bbau.ac.in.
Candidates whose names are included in the CUET PG merit list are marked eligible for the online document verification. The Departmental Admission Committee will issue a challan immediately after the documents are verified.
There is no other way around to get direct admission in any of the UG or PG courses at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU). The course admission is firmly based on the score of CUET conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Students who want to pursue any particular course must take the CUET exam, and if the candidate is able to get a good rank that is above the closing rank mentioned in the cut-off list released by Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), then the student can register for the counselling round followed by document verification along with the fee payment.
Candidates willing to join the BBAU Amethi Campus must apply on the official website for admissions. While applying for admissions do remember that only eligible students are given an opportunity to study at BBAU Amethi Campus. To join this BBAU centre, register for the accepted entrance exam such as CUET. Appear for the entrance exam and give your best to score well. Then visit the selected and allotted college and pay the admission fee.
National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence the CUET UG 2026 registrations at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates desirous of taking admission to University/college through CUET must fill the application form before the deadline. On the release of the CUET notification important dates for CUET 2026 will be announced. CUET 2025 application process will be in online mode. Candidates will be required to fill the application form, upload documents and pay the application fee in online mode only. CUET is a gateway to more tahn 250 universities across India for its UG courses.
