DU Admission Without CUET
The University of Delhi is one of the most prestigious and highly preferred universities for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in India. Students from all over the country want to apply for admission at one of the DU colleges. Admission to Delhi University regular colleges at UG and PG levels is done through CUET UG and CUET PG entrance exams, respectively. However, if a student has not appeared for any of these entrance tests, he/she can apply for admission at Delhi University School of Open Learning (DU SOL). CUET UG scores are not accepted by IITs. Common University Entrance Test for UG is conducted for admission to state, central, private, deemed and government institutions. Admission to UG courses of IITs is offered through other national level entrance examinations.
Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score will be accepted by more than 200 universities (central, state, private and deemed) across India. On the basis of the CUET UG score, candidates are offered admission to UG programme of the participating colleges. The CUET UG cut off is determined by CUET participating universities seperately. Parameters on the basis of which CUET UG cut off is released are:
- Total number of candidates that appeared for the CUET UG exam
- The number of seats offered by the participating universities through CUET UG
- The difficulty level of the CUET exam
- Overall performance of the test takers (pass percentage/ score range, etc.)
CUET cut off is based on the percentile of the candidate. To calculate the CUET percentile following formula is applied:
100*Number of candidates appeared in the session with a raw score is equal to or less than a candidate/ total number of candidates appeared for CUET UG.

Candidates can check CUET BHU cutoff 2026 at bhu.ac.in. Banaras Hindu University will release the CUET cutoff 2026 after declaration of result and counselling registration process is over. BHU will release the CUET cutoff 2026 in four rounds. To download the BHU cutoff 2026, candidate must visiut the official BHU website and click on tab 'Round 1 cutoff list for UG admission' when released.
CUET UG language section will now consist of 13 languages instead of 33 languages. The 13 languages of CUET UG are: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
Whereas the languages that have been deleted are: Arabic, Bodo, Chinese, Dogri, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Manipuri, Nepali, Persian, Russian, Santhali, Sindhi, Spanish, Tibetan, Sanskrit.
