How to Download IIT JAM 2026 Admit Card?

Students are advised to follow this to IIT JAM 2026 Admit Card Download:

  • Candidates can follow this advice to download their admit card for IIT JAM 2026 exam.
    Open IIT JAM 2026 official website: https://jam2026.iitb.ac.in/. 
  • Click on the JOAPS admit card. Solve the given arithmetic expression and click on the submit button 
  • Check the declaration box, then enter your signature and click on the "Download Admit Card" button.

Important Instructions on IIT JAM 2026 Admit Card

Candidates need to read the instructions present on their IIT JAM 2026 admit card very carefully.

  1. Aspirants need to carry their JAM admit card to their allotted test centre along with one photo ID. An original copy of the photo ID card needs to be carried by aspirants as a scanned copy of the photocopy will not be accepted. Photo ID cards that candidates can carry to their IIT JAM exam centre are- College ID, Employer ID, Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, and Aadhaar-UID.
  2. The print of IIT JAM admit card has to be taken on A4-size paper by using a colour laser printer (preferably). After taking a printout of the admit card, candidates need to ensure that their signature and photograph are clear.
  3. Aspirants are advised to visit or locate their exam centre at least a day before the exam. 
  4. Candidates need to ensure that their fingertips do not have any coating (example: ink, mehndi, henna, or tattoo) as a biometric system of verification will be done on the exam day. 
  5. Aspirants need to report to their allotted IIT JAM exam centre at least 90 minutes before the exam starts for identity verification.

What if There is a Discrepancy in IIT JAM 2026 Hall Ticket?

If there is any discrepancy in IIT JAM hall ticket 2026, students should immediately approach the IIT Bombay Help Line between 10.00 am. and 5.00 pm. IIT Bombay mentions, "In such a case, the candidate would appear in the examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, IIT Bombay will take necessary action to make corrections in the record later." So, students should not worry about the entry inside IIT JAM examination hall.

After downloading, candidates need to take a printout of IIT JAM admit card and carry it to the allotted exam centre along with an original copy of a valid ID proof. It may be noted that candidates not carrying their admit card or ID proof at the time of the exam will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
