BHU total course fee is inclusive of several components such as tuition fee, hostel charges (if applicable), security deposit, library fee, registration fee, etc. BHU fees for BA (H) range between INR 5,870 and INR 11,890. This fee range include BA (Hons) course fee in the affiliated colleges as well. The fee mentioned here is taken from an unofficial source, hence is indicative. The BHU offers good placements across all its courses with median package hovering around INR 8 LPA - INR 16 LPA for UG courses. Admission to most of the BHU UG and PG courses is through CUET score. However, for some courses such as PhD, MFA, etc. the university has a separate admission criteria. Candidates must check the admission requirement for the preferred course before applying for admission.

The hostel fee structure for BHU is INR 3,000 - INR 4,000 per semester depending upon the degree. The hostel fee does not include mess charges. Banaras Hindu University is spread across a 1,300-acre campus. There are 41 hostels for boys and 21 for girls. Additionally, there is separate accommodation for international students. All the hostels have basic amenities like water purifiers, a common room, recreation room, mess, TV, laundry services, security and surveillance system, etc.

Banaras Hindu University cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to UG and PG courses. As per round 4 of the CUET UG BHU cut off 2025, the cutoff scores ranged between 94 and 628.46 for the B.Sc. (Hons) in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology for the General category All India quota candidates.  So, considering the BHU latest round cutoff, a cutoff score of 200 is sufficient to get a seat in some courses at BHU.

Banaras Hindu University is one of the oldest universities. It should be a good opportunity to study here. BTech CSE course is available on the university main campus. The Computer Science Engineering is one of the popular specialisations. Students from this branch get the best salary package most of the times.

BHU does not accept JEE Main scores for BTech course admission. The interested students need to take the CUET-UG entrance exam to be eligible for selection. Students who get shortlisted based on exam score have to take part in counselling. The seats are allotted in this round only.
