Overall, Chandigarh University is good to study.
Placements: Top roles offered to the students are tour guide, tour operators, travel explorer, aviation and hospitality sector, in cruise services as well as in academic sector. Top recruiting companies in the tourism sector are Thomas Cook, Cox & King, Club Mahindra, Make My Trip, Ministry of Tourism, etc.
Infrastructure: There are more than 20 hostels in Chandigarh University, and more than 20,000 students live here. Hostels are well-maintained, and rooms are also air-conditioned. The mess maintains hygiene. Internet facility is also provided here, and sports and cultural events are held at regular intervals.
Faculty: Faculty members here are well-trained, experienced and have vast knowledge. The only disadvantage is that as we are in the tourism sector, we need more practicals and industrial visits as compared to theoretical knowledge, and it is something our university should more focus.
Other: I have chosen this course because travelling is my passion, and I like to travel a lot. This sector is something very adventurous, off-track and has more opportunities. We get a lot of privileges in this sector. Tourism's demand never gets low, and it is always growing throughout the year.

I am absolutely satisfied with our college as there are all facilities for students.
Placements: Almost 90% of the students from this course got placed. Top recruiting companies for our course are Cox & Kings, Thomas Cook, TravelTriangle, Club Mahindra, Expedia. com, MakeMyTrip, etc. Top roles offered in this course are tour operator, travel agent, tour manager, customer service executive in MICE, tour guide, ticket agent, foreign exchange, etc. The highest salary package offered is above 15 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 1.4 LPA. Almost 95% of the students got internships from this course, and companies which offer internships are Thomas Cook, TravelTriangle, JourneyCook, Club Mahindra, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is great. Classrooms are well furnished and have high technologies, and there are many tourism labs for students. There are many outlets in our college, and the quality of the food served is also good. There are many sports in our college, and proper sports equipment is available to practice.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good in our college. Teachers are PhD holders and also have industry experience, which help the students to know about the industry environment. They are very helpful and always clear the doubts related to study or anything. They also help to know what is better for the future of students. The course curriculum is relevant. Assignments, projects and case studies provided here are related to the working environment of the industry, so students have an idea about how to work in the tourism industry.

Review of Chandigarh University.
Placements: Chandigarh University has a 100% placement record so far and we are very much happy with the results. Top travel and tourism companies like Cox and Kings, VFS Global, SOTC, etc., come to campus for internship and placement opportunities. We also get international internship opportunities in places like Walt Disney.
Infrastructure: Our university has a great infrastructure. The campus is very green and clean. Departmental infrastructure is also very good. There are well-equipped lecture rooms and practical labs. We also have an amazing sports complex on the campus with playgrounds and courts for many games. Even the hostels are good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified, experienced, helpful, and quite considerate. Many of them also have industry experience which helps us to learn more things about the industry. We are taught through presentations, lectures, and videos which makes our classroom learning quite interesting. There are tests, assignments, and activities held to make sure regular learning.
Other: Our university not only provides good academics but also amazing fests and events. We have a sports day, live concerts, and Bollywood celebrities coming to the campus. These fests and events are very entertaining and fun.

It is a good college, and it makes students ready to face the industry.
Placements: Placements in our course are good. Students get placed good and reputed companies. But for engineering students placements are not so good. Top roles they offered to students are regarding management and being prepared and well-groomed always. The highest salary package for our course is 9 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. In the previous batch, all students got placed in good companies.
Infrastructure: The look of the university is good. Some engineering departments are not well maintained, but our department is well maintained. Labs are air-conditioned and well maintained. Classrooms are also good. The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. Quality of food served in the hostel is average.
Faculty: Some teachers in our college are good, and some are average. All teachers are qualified. Teachers have a good source of knowledge and good information about subjects. Teaching quality is really good. They are helpful.

Placements: Overall, high placement records of University, but yet first batch of agriculture is not passed out. But, still there is interaction between CEO's of companies and students on regular basis. CAB meetings are been arranged for such types of interaction.

No, the student has to pay for it. But there is a scholarship exam for semester change program and you have to score at least 8 CGPA for semester exchange program.
