Wants to do something in future. Don't come here.
Placements: There are very few placements in structure in CU. Other departments do have placements. In CU only few companies visit for civil engineering departments. If someone is willing to take apart from structure, then it is good. Branches like computer science, BBA, BA LLB has pretty good scope.
Infrastructure: Amazing infrastructure. They are having A grade campus. They have Wi-Fi, perfect labs, shops, etc. It's just copy of iits in infrastructure but if someone talks about study, then think twice. Canteen food is good for survival. But in regular, it's horrible.
Faculty: Faculty is amazing in Chandigarh University. But the faculty of structure department is horrible. Except few. They have no proper courses, faculty. We are being taught basics of BE. Not worth it. You can never score good marks because there is too much partiality.
Other: Very high fees, low quality of education.

It is about the overall experience of Chandigarh University as a day scholar.
Placements: For my batch, there were no placements in the construction industry, but there was one IT industry, which may be due to the reason that our batch was first. In future, companies may come for master's students as there is a demand for designers. Teaching line was also good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is good. There is a lot of construction project going on in the university regularly. Each of the buildings has a ground floor and nine floors on average. Due to ongoing construction projects, civil students get a lot of on-site training.
Faculty: It had many faculty compared to universities. Most of the faculty were young, and there was no communication gap and are easy to talk. As there were a lot of students in the department, the faculty were a little overwhelmed in my experience. Our course curriculum not appropriately designed, but they were improving.
Other: There are a lot of events going due to a lot of different courses. Hostellers get good exposure due to that. There are a lot of restrictions on the university.
