
The National Testing Agency will kickstart the CUET PG 2027 examination process by releasing the information bulletin in December 2026. The candidates will get around one month to fill the CUET PG 2027 application. The dates for filing and making corrections in the applications will be notified in the information bulletin. The NTA will conduct the CUET PG 2027 exam in March/April. The exam will be conducted in over 157 subjects with around 198 participating universities.Â

What is CUET PG
CUET PG exam is the nationwide exam conducted by the National Testing Agency to select candidates for the Post Graduate Courses in the participating universities, which include central, state and deemed universities. The CUET PG score is also recognised by some private universities. The CUET PG exam was started in 2022.Â

CUET PG Application Form
CUET PG registration form 2026 could be submitted by January 23, 2026, up to 11.50 PM. The application fee had to be paid by January 25, 2026. Students could fill the CUET PG registration form 2026 by visiting the official website in online mode. The first step for candidates is to fill in the basic details, such as name, address, and contact information, after registering themselves. NTA has advised candidates not to wait till the last moment to fill and submit the form.
Once the login credentials are generated, candidates can log in with the registration credentials to complete the rest of the procedure. Students had to fill out the CUET PG application form with their personal and academic details, programme and exam city preferences, and upload the required documents. After filling in all the details in the form, candidates had to submit the CUET PG registration fee via debit/credit card, Net Banking, Paytm, and UPI modes.Â

The CUET PG centres will be located in 292 cities, including 16 cities outside India. Candidates could choose four cities in order of preference. The number of exam cities has been reduced from last year.Â
Candidates who have submitted the application form could avail the CUET PG 2026 application correction facility between January 28 and January 30. NTA has specified the editable and uneditable fields.Â
CUET PG Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil the eligibility factors decided by the Central Universities to apply and appear for CUET PG 2026. The NTA announced the eligibility criteria or factors in the information bulletin, which was released along with the CUET PG application form 2026. The eligibility criteria for CUET PG 2026 are as follows:
- Candidates must have passed a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised institute
- Final year students are also eligible to apply, provided they pass the qualifying exam before the counselling process
- There is no age limit for applying for CUET PG exam. However, universities may have separate eligibility criteria regarding age limit or other factors.

CUET PG 2026 Reservation Criteria
Providing Reservation relaxation to the weaker categories of CUET PG aspirants helps them to avail themselves of the reservation, including comparatively lower application fees, cutoff marks, and course/admission fees. Indian Nationals belonging to certain categories are admitted under the seats reserved for them in accordance with the rules prescribed by the Government of India. Candidates must note that the benefit of reservation will be provided to them, subject to the verification of their documents. If it is discovered at any stage that a candidate has used a false/fake /incorrect document, or has furnished false, incorrect, or incomplete information, to avail the benefit of reservation, then such a candidate shall be excluded from all admission processes. In case such a candidate has already been given admission, the admission shall stand cancelled.

Note-
- Candidates with at least 40 per cent impairment, irrespective of the type of disability, shall be eligible for the benefits of the PwD category.

- Candidates with less than 40 per cent disability, but difficulty in writing, as prescribed by the Competent Authority, are also included in this category. Â
CUET PG 2026 Counselling Process
The CUET PG counselling 2026 will be conducted online by the participating universities. The qualified candidates will be allowed to attend the seat allocation process. CUET PG Result 2026
The National Testing Agency released the CUET PG 2026 result on its portal. The NTA also released the scorecard with the result under their login. The CUET PG 2026 scorecard will mention the details of their marks secured in each subject. The result will carry information such as candidatesâ personal details, section-wise and overall scores, and percentiles. The results was declared in the form of a scorecard, which has to be downloaded in PDF format.

The National Testing Agency conducted the Common University Entrance Test (Post Graduate) 2026 exam from March 6 to 30 nationwide. The NTA released the CUET PG 2026 result on April 24. The NTA also released the CUET PG 2026 answer key for all the subjects. The NTA released the CUET PG response sheet on April 11. CUET PG exam was conducted online as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) till March 30, 2026.Â
What is the CUET PG 2026 Cutoff?
The cutoff refers to the minimum marks one has to secure in order to qualify for the exam. While NTA will release the qualifying cutoff, participating institutes will release separate cutoffs for each programme offered by them. The cutoff will depend on factors such as the exam difficulty, the number of test-takers, and the number of seats, among others.

The candidates should note that the provisional answer key was available only for those candidates who appeared in the exam. There is no avenue to send objections against the final answer key.
CUET PG Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2026
CUET PG exam pattern 2026 consists of 75 questions to be completed in 90 minutes. As per CUET PG pattern 2026, each correct answer will carry four marks, and for each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted. And the unanswered questions will not receive marks. The CUET PG 2026 exam will be a computer-based test.

CUET PG Test Centres 2026
The Test Centres of CUET PG 2026 were located in 292 cities across India and abroad. As many as 16 international cities were also chosen by NTA. Candidates were required to select four test cities while filling the application form for CUET PG 2026 in preferential order. The application fee were also vary as per the selection of the Indian and international CUET PG 2026 exam centre. No, the conducting body for CUET PG does not change every year. The National Testing Agency, or NTA, is responsible for conducting the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) PG.
Though good score varies for each stream and colleges, score of 270 out of 300 is considered good enough to get top colleges in CUET PG exam. Students who score 200 to 250 also get colleges of their choice. Students should aim to score at least 200 to get admission in CUET PG exam.
NTA doesn't release cutoff marks for each speciality for CUET PG exam. Cutoff depends upon difficulty level, number of students etc. Students do need to try to score maximum marks out of 300 to increase their chances of admission.
Actually yes, faculty of Law BHU accept applicants CUET-PG scores for selection. Candidates seeking admission must a valid score in the national-level examination.
• A Central Control Room was opened to monitor and facilitate the smooth conduct of the Examination on the ground. 02 National Coordinators, 19 Regional Coordinators, 303 City Coordinators, 1083 Observers, and 162 Deputy Observers were deployed.
• Live CCTV Surveillance was planned in all examination centres to curb malpractices in the examination. The NTA also made arrangements for live viewing of remote locations of all examination centres from the Control Room located in the NTA premises of New Delhi. Recording of CCTV Systems was also done.
• The examination centres were also monitored using AI-based Video Analytics and Virtual Observers.
• In order to stop cheating using mobile networks, Jammers were installed in all the Centres.
