Good vibes and the best faculty members.
Placements: The placement opportunities were not that great last year, a very small percentage of students actually got recruited (around 40-50%), with the highest package being 20 LPA. A few companies where placement was offered are Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Zepto, etc. The placement cell, Vriddhi, offers internships and workshops to students. They also organise an annual internship fair called Incrementum where companies like Swiggy, Amazon, Snacc, Pw offer internship opportunities for roles in HR, Business executive and more. However, a very small number of students actually got the internship opportunities from my batch.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good with all the necessities like library, computer labs, common area, and rangshala. However, there's no Wi-Fi outside the library and labs, and the network is very bad in and around the campus area. The college hostel is just behind the main campus, which offer students to stay with reasonable fee and good facilities. There are canteens like Amul, NescafΓ© that offer great food options. The sports ground is also pretty spacious.
Faculty: The faculty and professors are very helpful and kind. They are professional and offer mentorship and guidance to students whenever needed. The examination level is average and most students pass, leaving a very few students with back log. The curriculum, my course offers is really nice, and we get to choose from a wide pool of subjects. The papers focus on skill enhancement, value assessment, and other skills that may come up very handy further in the industry.

Unforgettable memory of joy and happiness with knowledge at Delhi University.
Placements: In my college Delhi University the placements were very high. The connections of the university were very good with top companies. Top recruiters like Amazon, Tata, Kindle, and Disney recruit the students. The highest package was 89 LPA, and average package was 12 LPA to 14 LPA. 90% of students got placements in top colleges. The posts offered were assistant, manager, and executive. Internship opportunities were also there to make students industry-ready.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure were very good. The buildings were lovely built. Wi-Fi was available. Labs had all the equipments which was useful and necessary. Library was well managed and had all useful books. Hostel was fine. The quality of food available in mess and canteen was fresh and hygienic. Medical facilities were there. Sports ground and equipment were available.
Faculty: Faculty members were highly qualified professionals with lots of knowledge. They were very helpful. The teaching quality did not depend only on writing, but also on practical knowledge. The course curriculum was relevant, and it made students industry-ready. The semester exams were very difficult. The pass percentage was 94-95%.
Other: I chose this course as I was dedicated to choosing B.Com. The best thing about my course I like was that it was curriculum relevant. I wish that the chapters that were big could be separated into two or three parts. There were many events like annual freshers party. Scholarships were also given to SC and ST students. Surroundings were the same, and you could roam at night safely.

College is good because it is under the University of Delhi.
Placements: In my college, there is no hostel facility, and placements are good. The best maximum package is 12 LPA, and the minimum is 4 LPA. The top recruitment company in college is Infosys, and many others. Mainly, students do internships outside the campus, only a few students do internships in college.
Infrastructure: All classroom has a personal Wi-Fi and a good air intake. Labs are very good, all equipment and machines are in full working condition. Our college does not provide a hostel facility for students, but the canteen is neither bad nor good, it is very good in price, and decent.
Faculty: Semesters are not very difficult, the passing percentage is 5 CGPA. College makes students ready to work in the industry, but only talented students can go for placement. Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Everyone is of a very humble nature.
Other: Fest and events are mind-blowing, and our college also conducts NCC.

Placements: On average, 30-40% students get placed in my course. The highest package was of 7-8 LPA, the lowest package was of 2 LPA, and the average package was of 4 LPA. ICICI Bank and HDB Financial were the top recruiting companies. Over 50 percent of students got internships in my course in companies like Admit and Juspay. Top roles offered were business development associate and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Overall infrastructure is good, like Wi-Fi is available at specific locations only, but the speed is good, PC in the lab are all working and in good condition. Classrooms are clean, library has a good amount of books. The food available in the canteen is good and at a reasonable price, a medical facility is also available, and sports is one of the best in the university.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified with a Ph.D. They are very knowledgeable and with good teaching qualities, also they have at least 10 to 15 years of experience. Curriculum is relevant according to Delhi University, but don’t make students industry-ready is the only drawback. Exams are not difficult, but not easy either. A student who studied in good amount can pass the exam easily, with a good CGPA. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I belong to a commerce background, so I chose this course as best suited me. The best things about my courses are that it is easy and get you ready for corporate. There should be more practical parts to it is mostly theory only. Events around the college happen from time to time. They are pretty good. The crowd here is quite nice. Connectivity is also good with other colleges. The campus surroundings are a good society. College is directly connected with with road, and the metro is near. Extra-curricular activities like NCC and NSS are also available.

Good infrastructure and faculty but the placement cell is not too much satisfying.
Placements: Placement cell of this college is not that much doing best as it can. But still, the highest package is around 12 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Companies like Accenture, ICICI Bank, some NGOs, and other companies are hiring students from here. So basically, this college placement cell is average.
Infrastructure: Shyam Lal College doesn't have any hostel facility for its students or faculty members. But the infrastructure of this college for academic purposes is very good. There is fully ventilated room with a fan. Pure water canteen facility, sports room, and girls common room are also there.
Faculty: Faculty of Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi is nice. Some experienced and some freshers are there doing jobs as professors and assistant professors. But both of them have very vast knowledge. Very protective and supportive faculty at Shyam Lal College.

I think college studies are best.
Placements: 80% of students got internships and placements. The highest package is 20 LPA-25 LPA and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, MakeMyTrip, TCS, Lenskart, Manpower Group, HDFC, EY, and many come to our college also, small MNCs also come.
Infrastructure: Sri Aurobindo College has no hotels, but the college near Begumpur is the best place for PG, and rooms are available at an affordable price because it is the nearest to Aurobindo College. Our college sports facilities are also the best. After training, you receive a diet coupon for Rs. 75.
Faculty: All the teachers are good, they study well, and all are highly qualified teachers, and the best thing is that all the teachers and students are supportive in nature. Semester exams are at a very tough level, many students get a year back because studies are very strict in our college.
Other: I chose this course because I am pursuing CA, and also in 12th, I am getting the commerce stream. Fests are very enjoyable. I wish for better improvement in our college, in every class AC is required.

Q: Β  How is the overall infrastructure of the college?
    A:
Here's my answer based on the given reviews:

    1. The college's infrastructure is considered reasonable and adequate, with some reviewers mentioning that it is neither too good nor too bad.
    2. Some reviewers praise the comfort and quality of the seats, as well as the availability of air conditioned classrooms and labs.
    3. The new classrooms are appreciated by some reviewers, who also mention that the library is fully air-conditioned and has Wi-Fi.
    4. While some reviewers find the library to be good, others express mixed opinions about its usefulness.
    5. Reviewers generally positively describe the campus size, facilities such as Wi-Fi and the canteen, as well as the presence of separate departments for different courses.
    6. Medical facilities and hostels are also available and the college hosts annual sports events and inter-college competitions.

Overall, the infrastructure of the college seems to be decent and well-maintained, with some areas standing out as particularly impressive, such as the new classrooms and the fully air-conditioned library.
Q: Β  Which are the most popular colleges for BCom (Hons) under DU?
    A:

With more than 90 affiliated colleges, DU provides BCom (Hons) and BCom programme via more than 50 colleges. Known for their high academic standards and strong alumni base, the cut-off for admission to these colleges is usually high, and the competition is tough. However, if a candidate is looking for a top-quality education in the field of Accounting and Commerce, these colleges are a great option. The following table mentions the top five colleges of DU and their fee for BCom and BCom (Hons) programmes.

Q: Β  Can I take admission for BCom at DU with 83 per cent?
    A:
For admission in Delhi University for BCom, candidates have to follow the process laid down by the University which is to register for the CUET. Delhi University accept applications for UG programmes based on CUET (Common University Entrance Test) and final admission depends on the previous Class 12 scores and the score obtained by students in CUET.
After the exam, candidates must register on CSAS portal of DU. The portal will ask about the top 10 colleges you prefer. Then the CUET scores are required to be uploaded online and the portal will show you the college that you are allotted by the university.
Now, while the process of the university has changed, the competitiveness of the colleges allocated to the students under DU have not. Hence, it can  be considered that getting into a BCom college under DU for a General category student with 83 percent will be equally tough in 2024 as it was earlier. However, students with excellent CUET scores might stand a chance.

Q: Β  Is CUET fee revised?
    A:

No, CUET application fee is similar as of previous year. The CUET registration fee is updated on release of the CUET notification. Earlier, CUET application fee was revised with the reduction on choice of subjects for CUET exam. NTA will commence CUET UG 2026 registrations at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can know the revised fee, exam pattern and important dates on CUET 2026 notification PDF.
