We have excellent infrastructure, facilities, faculty members and placement opportunities.
Placements: In our college, around 95% of students are placed and almost 35% of students are placed on the very first day of recruitment and the remaining get their jobs within a week. The highest salary package offered is 65 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 15 LPA by Tata Motors. Around 60% of students are placed at Jio, Tata, etc. Top roles offered are energy engineers and scientists.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi access and over 20 labs and a building of 7 floors. The food was good with four meals each day. We have a playground for badminton, basketball, and kho-kho. Our college has courts for carrom, table tennis, and football. Medical facilities are provided by the college and an ambulance is always ready.
Faculty: The teaching quality is excellent. Teachers are well-qualified and some of them are experts in their fields. They do research on their particular topics. Exams are of a moderate level. Almost 90% of students pass it, with the remaining 10% passing it during the summer.

Absolutely satisfied with good environment, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Since 70% of batch goes for placements while 20% opt for higher studies and another 10% goes to civil services or Business schools for studies. The package for core energy can go upto 40-45 Lacs or even more placed in Japan or any foreign country. Students do research interns in any foreign universities.
Infrastructure: Energy Science Department is the most newly build department of IITBombay, hence include all facilities like Wi-Fi, Labs, Classrooms, seminar rooms, etc. Hostels allotted for fresher are good, but second and third year you need to shift to old hostels. Final year you would get newly build hostel. Mess in IITB are mostly privates so relatively Good food.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable in teaching aspects. The curriculum is relevant to current system and it makes students industry ready. Exams are bit difficult as its relative in nature, and continuous evaluation is done. Almost 40 hours of working is needed weekly.

Excellent institute to learn engineering.
Placements: Placements are quite good for our department. As our department (for undergraduate programme) was started in 2007, only 4-5 batches have been passed our till now. Although placements are good (around 10-12 lacs per annum salary on average), students prefer to join some non-core company if they are interested in that company's field of work or many students even do for UPSC or MBA from IIM (CAT). In core field, companies like Reliance ADA, BEE, Tata Power visit our campus. In non-core field, ITC, Google, CitiBank are the best ones.
Infrastructure: Internet connectivity (LAN) is there for 24*7. Infrastructure of classrooms, labs is more than awesome. Sports facilities are also quite good. But hostel infrastructure is not that great mainly for undergraduate students (non-freshers). Older hostels have very compact rooms. Mess and canteen is there in every single hostel, so there is nothing to worry about food at all.
Faculty: Faculty members are very qualified. Every professors here holds a post-doctoral degree from very reputed universities across the world like MIT, Stanford, Yale, ETH Zurich, etc. But teaching quality cannot be commented because it changes from professor to professor. Some are good, some are not. We do get industry exposure through field visits.
Other: IIT Bombay students mainly organize to two main festivals. One is Techfest and other one is Mood Indigo. Techfest is technical festival, while Mood Indigo is cultural festival. Both are Asia's the largest festivals. Extracurricular activities are more than awesome here.

Placement scene seems scary.
Placements: The placement scene at energy science engineering is quite unpleasing. The seniors have made a scene at the general meeting of the department. They said that the companies hire the engineers that are mostly from the core engineering departments like electrical or mechanical thinking that we don't have enough knowledge as compared to them whereas the energy engineers are most versatile engineers. They know mechanical, electrical and chemical engineering disciplines.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi and are air-conditioned. The medical facilities are available within the institution itself, mostly free including the medicines cost. The sports complex are a key attraction because of the availability of synthetic court for the various sports along with their ground counterparts. The labs are with highly advanced equipment which increases the precision and accuracy.
Faculty: The course is unique. It's been stated that this course was created because the companies demanded such engineers who can not only handle the multidisciplinary knowledge but also have worked on its implementation during their course. The teachers try to take much feedback thereby improving the quality of the teaching methods.

Really good infrastructure, helping faculty.
Placements: The placement is pretty good in comparison to the other engineering colleges but not that much good if you compare it with the other departments here in IIT, Bombay. Rs. 15 LPA to Rs. 17 LPA was the highest package offered to the students, and the lowest package offer was Rs. 7 LPA to Rs. 8 LPA. Most of the students were placed in the non-core companies except a few were placed in Tata Power.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are air-conditioned with Wi-Fi facility. The students have 24x7 access to Wi-Fi reading room along with the library facility in the daytime. The labs are good in the quality and the proper functioning with well-trained technicians. We have a mess in each hostel which offers some delicious food at the normal price, and the canteens are open late at night till 3 AM. The hostels provide some good facilities like TV, sports, dance, music and a computer room. The hostel rooms are pretty small, it may be because of the college being in Bombay.
Faculty: The faculty are very helpful. They will help you and guide you. Most of the professors have done their PhDs from Europe and US. They are the masters in their fields. All professors have their different ways of teaching, a few take the open book exams, a few prefer to take the away exams, and a few follow the trend of the end of the semester and the mid-semester exams. In spite of this, all have the same moto to teach well. The student-faculty ratio is around 20:1. I got the industry exposure as the department has tied up with many industries in India and the foreign as well. The curriculum mainly focuses on the overall development of the students.
