Amazing return on investment and value for money. Amazing campus life and very good placements.
Placements: In 2025, the placement record was quite good for the chemical engineering department. The highest salary is 34 LPA this year. Above 90% of students who opted for placements got placed in varying fields, mostly in the core sector. And quite good placements in the IT as well as finance sectors. Overall, chemical engineering department is quite a chill department, where you do get the time to develop quite some other skills like coding and all. Also gives you exposure for higher studies abroad.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. Labs are maintained. Wi-Fi works quite well. Classrooms are quite clean. Library here is one of the best places. There are 4 canteens with reasonable rates for food present. Sports and games are quite encouraged too.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, friendly, and highly qualified. They teach the curriculum quite well, and the curriculum is quite relevant for the higher studies exams like GATE and all. The exams are moderate to hard, but nothing out of the curriculum, so studying well can secure you good marks.
Other: Our college is quite the value for money, as the return on investment is amazing. Paying almost 10,000 for the whole 4 years, and passing out with a 10 LPA job is quite worth it. Not to mention the amazing and fun campus life at the college. It's quite fun.

Honest review for my juniors.
Placements: 95% of students are placed in our course on campus. The top recruiting companies are HPL, MCPI, PWC, Cipla, and JSW, and many of the top recruiting companies are visited by our college. The highest package from our course is about 20 LPA and the average package is 8 LPA. 80–95% of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of our course is just awesome; there are also accessible Wi-Fi, labs, smart classrooms, digital libraries, etc. The qualities of the hostel room are good, the food quality of the hostel is above average, medical facilities are also available, and sports and games facilities are awesome.
Faculty: Teachers are also helpful, they are highly qualified and they have also completed their masters and PhDs from renowned institutions like IIT and IISc, as well as Jadavpur University. Their teaching quality is awesome, but it is a little bit difficult to pass the semester exam. You have to have more knowledge about the core subject .
Other: I have a dream to be an engineer so I chose this course. Events, fest, connectivity, scholarships, etc. are also available.

I am placed in Cipla, and I have completed my course, so I know the faculty is so good.
Placements: 1. Here 95% students are placed in this course. 2. Top recruiting companies in 2023 were Schdoringer, DE Shaw India, Citibank, HSBC. In 2024, companies like Cipla, PWC, HP Petroliam, etc., along with Facebook and Jio. 3. Roles offered in HSBC. 4. The highest package is 15LPA. 5. The lowest package is 6LPA. 6. 95%+ students got internships in our course, including at HP Petroliam and medicine companies.
Infrastructure: Not our department, but also our full university provides Wi-Fi. Here, available a big-sized room lab, divided into some parts. The classroom is like a hall room, including 100 students. The faculty in our hostel is so good. Every day, the meal is good, with 2 days fish, 2 days chicken, 2 days egg, and 1 day veg. The university has 4 canteens, our department's nearest being AAHAR CANTEEN. There, available chicken menu varies, noodles, porota, bread, etc.
Faculty: Our facility has 20 teachers; they are all very helpful. They are all Ph.D. holders with 5 to 10 years of teaching experience. Cultural programs include Teachers' Day, Pura Vacation, Sanskriti, U Turn, etc. The semester is not easy, but most students pass with a 95% maximum pass rate. We create many programming functions, and many companies come.
Other: Because here placement is very good, 95%+, and the university name is known to everyone. Department everything is good; I have no other wishes. Sanskrit, U Turn, puja, convocation. Campus is so crowded. Campus surrounding is so good, nature look is good, many trees around our department.

My university is all rounder and placements are perfect.
Placements: Ninety-five percent of the students have been successfully placed in reputed companies such as IOCL and Bharat Indian Oil. These companies offer attractive packages, with the highest package being around 25 LPA and the average package around 9 LPA. Additionally, there are numerous other companies that visit our campus for recruitment. As a student, you have the opportunity to secure a managerial position. Furthermore, in the third year, you can also avail internships through exams, which typically last for one or two months.
Infrastructure: Everything is excellent in this place. The rooms are impeccable, offering complimentary Wi-Fi, and the overall ambiance of the hostel is tranquil. The rates are affordable, ensuring a hassle-free stay. Additionally, the hostel provides a canteen and CCTV surveillance for added convenience and security. Moreover, if you encounter any issues during your stay, you can directly approach the supervisor or the dean, who will gladly assist you.
Faculty: Teachers play a crucial role in providing assistance and guidance to students. Their extensive knowledge and expertise make them valuable resources for learners. Moreover, teachers are known for their supportive nature, always ready to lend a helping hand. With a wide range of courses available, students have the opportunity to find the one that suits their needs and interests. Although the semester exams are not excessively challenging, they still require dedication and effort. It is important not to neglect studies and instead focus on completing appropriate lab work. The minimum passing percentage is set at above 50, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a satisfactory level of academic performance.

Best college better than IITs in terms of ROI (return of investments). .
Placements: The batch of 2022 has been exceptionally placed with the highest placement of INR 52 Lacs. The median salary was 12 Lacs and average salary was 11 Lacs. Top recruiters were Infosys, payU, increff, Honeywell, exxonMobil, etc. With the total of 90 students sat for the placement, 80+ got placed.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided by the college is good accordingly in comparison to the fees they take from students. The laboratory and other classes are well structured and clean. The quality of the hostels is poor and unhealthy for the students and so preferably most of the students take PGs or hostels near the college.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified with some of them are under 2% of the world scientist. They got deep knowledge of the field they are in. The course curriculum is well structured and in accordance with the latest design. The semester exams are moderately difficult to be precise.

    Yes, Diploma in chemical engineering candidates are deemed eligible to do BE in chemical engineering in Jadavpur University. You can also apply for lateral entry (direct second-year admission) and for that you have to appear for State LEET exam (lateral entry exam).

    Sorry, but you can't get any branch in Jadavpur University if you don't belong to West Bengal. If you belong to West Bengal then also you can't get chemical but yes, you can get any other branch.
