Jamia Millia Islamia BSc Eligibility & Highlights 2025
JMI BSc and BSc (Hons) programmes are of three-year duration. The admission process for these programmes is conducted through an entrance test, conducted by Jamia Millia Islamia. However, for a BSc in Biotechnology and a BSc (Hons) in Physics, admission will be subject to a valid score in the CUET exam. The final selection of candidates is based on their performance in the previous qualifying degree exams, performance in the entrance test and seat availability.
Jamia Millia Islamia BSc admission is subject to either CUET (conducted by NTA) or JMI entrance exam. Till 2021, admission was subject to the JMI entrance exam across all specialisations. However, starting from 2022, admission to BSc in Biotechnology and BSc (Hons) in Physics is CUET-based.

Jamia Milia Islamia BSc Fees 2025
After the selection, candidates have to pay the Jamia Milia Islamia BSc fee to confirm their seats. JMI BSc course admission is entrance-based. Apart from CUET scores, aspirants must meet the course-specific eligibility requirements. STEP 1: Jamia Milia Islamia BSc Application Process 2025
Candidates seeking admission to Jamia Millia Islamia for BSc and BSc (Hons) can apply online on the official website of www.jmicoe.in & www.jmi.ac.in. The university does not offer any offline mode of application. Followed by application filling and before application submission, candidates are also required to pay the application fee ranging from INR 550-700 (depending on the faculty via which the course is offered).

Step 1: Visit the website for registration and admission for the CUET-based courses at www.nta.ac.in and appear for the exam.
Step 2: Fill online admission form for JMI at www.jmicoe.in and enter the CUET application number.

STEP 2: Release of Cutoff List & Shortlisting of Students
In the next step, the cutoff marks are announced for admission to each of the BSc specialisations. Candidates who meet cutoff criteria and selected JMI as a preference along with the desired course can apply through its CUET portal.
STEP 3: Admission Confirmation
Shortlisted candidates then may have to take part in the round of counselling for seat allotment. Some of the important documents may have to be submitted as well at this time of admission.
