Satisfied with the course and would recommend it if you have low expectations.

Placements: All the students got placed. Fewer students in our batch make it easier for the placement cell to get us all placed. I was hired as a trainee at Zydus Healthcare Limited. Most of my batchmates were hired for 5 LPA in Amber Enterprises, most of us got at least 2 offer letters.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and other infrastructure are the best parts of the university. The quality of food in hostels is pretty bad, to be honest, so I wouldn't recommend taking them, but there are food stalls from different parts of India if you need to have some food from your hometown. Also, Domino's and other brands like Subway are present on campus.

Faculty: Teachers are fine, not great, not bad. The teaching quality is the same, but they put in efforts to get us placed and know each one of us individually, which is a great thing. The curriculum is so advanced as compared to local government colleges since they focus on our soft skills and programming language training from semester 1, so we are ready for both core and non-core jobs.

Other: I chose this course because my maternal uncle is also working in this field, and I was pretty sure I'd like this field, working with machines, designing stuff. The things I wished could have improved are that if the courses were more practical and hands-on, with more industrial training, it would have helped us understand the subjects much more easily. The college fests and crowd are the best part about the campus, if u need to have a good student life, I guess LPU is one of the best in India to have so, it's so culturally rich.

LPU is a collection of sweet and bitter experiences.

Placements: If I talk about placements, no doubt CSE, EE, MBA has very good placements, alot of companies come related to these departments. If I talk about chemical engineering, Placements are wrost. As LPU is new in chemical engineering, it started just 3 years ago, This might be the reason. No more good companies come to campus. Companies like WABAG (4, 00,000 CTC, Ajit chemicals 4,00,000, TechSciTechSci 3,50,000, JK cement 3,00,000 are few companies visit to the campus. But at the last of the day LPu set you in any company for sure at the end of the journey.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is too good. Library is too good, Auditorium of LPU is fabulous, I seriously love it. Classrooms are of fine quality. I'm not a hostler. But many of my friend live in hostels. Expenses are too much High. Rooms are normal. Yea, they provide you facilities But still this is nothing as per Huge amount you pay to hostels. Mess quality is okay, not too good, not too bad. I never suggest to live in hostels till you have a good budget. Alot of places near LPU where you can get accommodation very-very easily and affordable.

Faculty: No doubt LPU has lot of IITians and NITians faculty. But they are not Up-to-date. Not Every IITians is a good Teacher. SEE LPU is a vast university, you will get alot of variety of peoples. At the last It depend on your Luck. Teachers are helpful no doubt, Sometimes they are not too. But One thing as faculty are IITians/NITians, If you get into Research they have good connections.

Other: I chose Chemical Engineering because I always want to be a Chemical Engineer. As per curriculum LPU's curriculum structure is as per GATE based. But it doesn't mean they teach you at the level of GATE. But Along with curriculum If U advance yourself with Other External sources of GATE preparation. It definitely work for you. There are lot of events, fest are there in campus. They are just like Common for all students of LPU. In LPu there is DSW, there lot of clubs are there (around 30-32), like western dance club, art and craft club, guitar club, etc. Where any student can learn any thing free of cost.

Lovely is actually so lovely.

Placements: Placements is not so good in chemical engineering rest of departments have good placement services. The department placement coordinator is trying but doesn't go through his words actually. May be this is first batch that's the problem but rest things are good.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good, labs were fully developed, library is full of books. Hostels are just wow! You can forget anything about your college but not your hostels. You find friends from different regions of India and also from different countries. You will love the wh Smith shop on ground floor of hostels. Canteen for each hostels are separated Even though there if food courts.

Faculty: Teaching is good but can't say excellent. Teachers are newly introduced in this field so can't know much about anything. But the teachers are trying their hard to make us industry ready. You may have several industry visits also during your graduation time.

Other: It's the first time in lpu that any batch going to graduate in chemical engineering. Scholarship is good if you studied well in 12th.

This is where education and brilliance meets fun.

Placements: Information regarding our place to is not currently available as we are only the second batch here. But, LPU is reputed for it's record placements. There are efficient placement cells working in full flow across the university. And the students are encouraged to apply for internships from the first year on.

Infrastructure: LPU has one of the best infrastructures in India. It's an architectural marvel. It's a full Wi-Fi campus. Classrooms are top notch with projectors and ACs. A hospital is present for immediate medical attention. Well conditioned grounds are there too.

Faculty: The course is of 4 years with 2 semesters in each. The teaches are well qualified graduates from prestigious institutions like IITs. Teaching methods are more interactive than book oriented. Hence PDFs and PPTs are very commonly used in place of notes.

Other: LPU is currently the most happening campus in India. There will be one programme or the other going on here that one will not be able to catch up with them and enjoy them all. There are 4 or 5 grand fests and events within an year. Scholarship is a very good asset for the talented students. One could get scholarships around 4 lakh if qualified by the requirements.

The university is awesome, where you can achieve your goals and dreams.

Placements: This university is giving the placements more from IT sectors. So many companies provide the placement drive here to take the students. The chemical engineering had been here for two years, and the placements are unknown and need to find out in the coming years. Last year, 20% of the CS engineering students got placements, but the placements are going here 4/3 per week basis so that everybody will get a chance. Especially the university is training the students about how to face the interview as course in their 2/3-year.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure on the campus is marvellous. The whole campus is connected by the high-speed Wi-Fi facility. The classrooms are well-prepared with every gadget. With your mobile phone, you can check the particular book in the library so that if it is not there, you won't need to go. Everything is well-connected on the campus. Here, we have the university hospital. The university will support the aspirants, who are interested in games and arts, and there is a whole big building for those activities. If you got the 1st prize in any game events and make proud the name of LPA. They even support your studies through a full scholarship.

Faculty: The faculty members are well-trained and highly qualified. The faculty members are friendly towards the students, and they support your dream with their full strength. The teaching methods are by lecture, tutorial, and practical in class. You also will get a chance of the industrial training.

Other: The campus is beautiful with neat roadways, gardens, parks, etc. It is a big campus, which is spread over 9000-acres. Here, there are many events, the major events are are one India, one world, and youth wibe.

The university is good but can be better.

Placements: Here, the university is good in sort of the placement. The companies like Infosys, Google, Windows visit the campus to take the students, but the problem is with the quality of the placement. According to me, they are working in quantity not quality in sort of the placements. All the other things are satisfactory on the campus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure on the campus is the best I have ever experienced because they are removing the voids of the problem in their infrastructure. After all, it is a private university if they will not work in infrastructure then there is nothing to do.

Faculty: More and even more practical knowledge should be needed in the hiring of the faculty members, The maximum faculty members in LPU are the freshers, and they lack in their teaching experience, and it will cause a big decay for LPU and LPU students in the time to come they have to analyse it now.

Other: There are no events and the fests on the campus for the students.

B.Tech chemical engineering in Lovely Professional University

Placements: The placement is good but not more than 7 lacs per year is offered in all branches. However, the chemical engineering batch started in 2016 so we cannot say about placement in B.Tech chemical engineering. They will have to wait until 2019. But placements of other branches like computer science engineering, mechanical engineering, etc. are good.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Lovely Professional University is good. We are comfortable here. Wi-Fi network on the whole campus is fast. Modern classrooms, library, and computer lab with AC for summers. 2-3 playgrounds on the campus. All sports grounds are available here.

Faculty: The faculty is good. There's 1 faculty member for 25 students. All the teachers are from good universities like Indian Institute of Technology, NIT, Thapar University, etc. The teachers' behaviour is nice, like friends'. The teachers are knowledgeable.

Other: The curriculum of the college is not good. The college fee is high. The subjects of B.Tech chemical engineering are not advanced. It is okay. The number of students is higher than in other colleges. The number of seats is not fixed. Examination paper is also very easy. Everyone can get passed.

Placements: Btech chemical engineering is introduced in the year 2016. So placements are yet to begin on the campus. Department of chemical engineering is dedicated and working hard for placements. Placement department is providing placement classes to students on weekends.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. There are AC rooms, well-equipped labs, and a uni hospital for medical facilities. There's no need for students to go outside for medical treatment. 24*7 Wi-Fi connection is available. Sports department is open to every student. Well-furnished classrooms are also present.

Faculty: The faculty is hard working. Course for the 1st batch is designed according to the need of industries. Subject-oriented projects and courses are available. The teachers have an eye for every student. Correction of exam papers is fair. Regular tests are conducted by faculty to examine the growth of the student. The faculty are always ready to help in subject-oriented problems.

Other: UMS is the backbone of LPU. UMS is a very innovative step by infotech department as LPU is a paperless university. All the announcements, marks, grades and other things are easily available on UMS. The university has an app which performs excellently. The university is dedicated to academics and co-curricular activities.
