Genuine review of Lovely Professional University .

Placements: The minimum requirement for placements portals is 6 Gpa. And if you don't want placements and opt for higher studies like me you can opt that too. Only 40% of my class was placed with good salary and the rest choose higher studies or dropped both as they had businesses. I don't know the top companies as I took higher studies. Please refer others for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was huge in LPU campus. The vast 600 acre project is a slight to be seen. The distance between one department to another was quite high so either you have e-vehicles for commute or you can cycle. The hostel was okay only and the hostel food was bad to be honest.

Faculty: The teachers were quite helpful and friendly to approach. They are surely one of the best teachers for their specialized subjects. The teaching quality was good but the papers were tough. The exams per semester was though too. The pass percentage is 40%, but can be passed easily though attendance bonuses if you attend first week of semester properly .

Other: Mechatronics is a combination of mechanical and electrical engineering which expose more towardsthe industrial sides so I took this course for more exposure. The college life was quite good. We had lots of festivals and parties to attend. A good place for social people.

Interested candidates can apply online/ offline with required information. Eligible candidates need to appear for the Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST). Candidates who have secured 70% aggregate marks in Diploma are exempted from LPUNEST. Admission is through counselling based on the marks obtained in LPUNEST. Candidates with 70% aggregate marks in Diploma/ B.Sc./ BCA are selected on the basis of qualifying exam marks.

Lateral entry students at Lovely Professional University (LPU) receive excellent placement opportunities in CSE and related fields. Companies generally do not differentiate between regular and lateral entry students because both groups show strong coding skills and project experience and internship
