Good students, nice faculty support, and beautiful campus surroundings.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students were placed in my course. The highest average package was around 6-8 LPA. The lowest average package was around 2.5-3 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course were media and publishing companies, market research companies, and some advertising agencies. Around 50-60% of students got internships at companies like Times Group and Hindustan Times. Top roles offered by the companies were Research Analyst, Writer, and Journalism roles.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in my department were very good. Wi-Fi ran at very high speed. The lab was very neat and clean. The classrooms were modern. The library had a lot of books for students. The quality of facilities in my hostel was very good. The quality of the food available in the mess and canteen was also very good. Medical facilities were available. Sports and games were also played in a proper manner.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful. Some were Master's and Ph.D. qualified and very knowledgeable. The teaching quality was very good. The understanding was excellent. The course curriculum was very relevant. It made students industry-ready through practical work and internships in the final year. The semester exams in this college were not very hard. Every student passed in my course. The pass percentage was 60%.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in the field of media and journalism and in writing. The best thing about my course was that it provided a lot of knowledge. The course could have been improved by having regular interaction between students to improve communication or by conducting communication skill classes at regular intervals. The events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, and campus surroundings were very good. Scholarships were given to eligible students. Extracurricular activities also took place.

This college is best for studies.
Infrastructure: The library is the best. Many facilities are available in the library. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned. A common room, or girls' room, is also available for girls in this college. Labs are also available, such as the computer lab, and the lab is air-conditioned as well.
Faculty: This college is best for exams and studies. Students learn many new things. Teachers help me with my studies politely. They explain chapters many times. Teachers in this college are also the best. Many things are available in this college.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in it. This college is the best. The full course charges are around Rs. 1 lakh. 60% is required for students to get admission to the Bachelor of Arts course. Fees are paid yearly. Practical subject charges are different. When we choose practical subjects, we have to pay extra charges for these subjects.

A brief of Dr. Harvansh Singh Judges Institute of Dental Science.
Placements: A batch has 100 students. The highest degree in this college is Master of Dental Surgery. There's nothing like placements in this college. The interns get Rs. 14,000 as their stipend in BDS. The cut-off of this college is usually high as it's a semi-government college, being a part of Punjab University.
Infrastructure: The hygiene maintenance is quite poor. In the hospital, washrooms are not repaired or regularly cleaned. Food available is quite average. The hostel is well-maintained and quite impressive. The college gives very little importance to extracurricular activities as there is no such dedicated space.
Faculty: It's difficult to pass the semester exam in this college as a lot of people have to repeat. Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable though. The curriculum is relevant for a BDS student. Everything is taught well. Teachers are not very friendly with the students.
Other: The best thing is that I get an independent degree to practice surgery after five years and I have chosen a government university and college which would give me great clinical exposure. Fest and events are great.

Don't take admission unless you need low fees and a government degree.
Placements: Almost 5 percent got placed in my course, Civil. The lowest is 1.2 LPA and the highest is 3 LPA. Local construction companies. There are zero internships. Site engineer. It's not good for placement because it's an option for government jobs and not for private that's why and it's hard in this to get a job as a government and not highly supported.
Infrastructure: There is a good library but bad timings. There are no AC classrooms. The lift only works in a few blocks. Bad condition of a few washrooms. There are comfortable benches. Overall 3/5. Wi-Fi only in the administration block. For sports, zero facilities I complain, no response. We ourselves bought a new net and ball to play and they don't even cut the grass. The mess is pathetic students protest in front of the principal. He didn't even listen. Students eat one time out to get taste. Canteen is overpriced. I have never seen a medical room.
Faculty: Few teachers are next-level great but mostly don't try to help much. In civil, they are trying very hard to make good engineers. Teachers are highly qualified and supportive but teaching is where the issue is. With a few teachers they are not able to keep up with students. No student is ready for industry, old textbooks and old material. Semester exams are way tougher. The teacher says 50 percent of the class gets to reappear.
Other: Government college, low fees, almost zero fests, very low crowd, and drop out a lot.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty, good behavior of teachers, and enough competition.
Placements: Last year, 2 students were placed. They were offered an average package of 15–16 LPA. Top companies like Allen, Hilux, and Physics Wallah recruited students who wanted to work as mathematics teachers. Many students get summer and winter internships at IIT Jammu and IIT Bombay through the MTTS Trust. There are also opportunities to work with mathematics teachers and professors in the field of mathematics.
Infrastructure: The department provides Wi-Fi, labs, vintage classrooms, and cozy classrooms with fully ventilated and airy rooms. The view of the student centre is also very clear from the classrooms. It makes the classroom experience more realistic and helps us explore mathematics more intellectually. There is also a library facility for mathematics department students, which helps many students during exam time.
Faculty: Teachers and professors are very dedicated to their work. They pay attention to every student and help guide students on what to do next in their future. Their detailed explanations of every aspect of a topic help in better understanding.
Other: This is the best course, as the Department of Mathematics at Panjab University, Chandigarh, has best faculty.

Good college with decent academics and less strict attendance.
Placements: The placement opportunities at DAV College are decent. In B.Com, around 16–18% of students get placed. The average package is 3 LPA. Top companies include Infront, Wipro, and ICICI. According to reports, 19 students got internships in Leading Solutions in 2024–25. Around 12–15% of students get internships every year in B.Com in companies like Deloitte, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI, Numera, Amazon, and The Times of India. The roles include leadership, marketing, sales, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. Wi-Fi is provided to every student with a password and user ID. The classrooms are good in the B.Com department. Some classrooms also have AC. The cleaning and maintenance are good. The library has multiple books and also a separate reading section, with timings such as a break from 1 to 1:30 PM. The college has good records in NCC and NSS. Sports, games, and other club cells are available for students to join. The hostel has all facilities, such as an iron, stationery, and a gym.
Faculty: Teachers are good, but some are not. They teach well, but there is no strictness regarding classes. In my course, all classes are conducted regularly with attendance. The semester exams are at the same level as PU exams. Exams are conducted properly, like final examinations. The passing marks are 15 out of 30. Exams are conducted in a very good manner.
