The placements provided in 2018 were 94% and are still counting. It may reach up to 97%.
Placements: The placements are the best things in this university. Every year, many companies visit this campus to pick up the best. Almost, all the students belonging to computer science engineering get placed with an average package offer of Rs. 4.5 LPA. Rest of them have placed accordingly. Being a mass recruiter, TCS recruits a ton of students every year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Sastra is just next to IIT, NIT and VIT in Tamil Nadu. It beats Anna University and SRM with respect to the infrastructure. The school of chemical and biotechnology is one of the top schools on the continent. Sastra also has two research hubs of its own. There is TIFAC core which has a supercomputer.
Faculty: Almost 95% of the faculty are PhD holders in their areas of interest. We have the best faculty and the best course curriculum in the country. You can even choose your own professor for a subject and can choose a subject out of the few available. The timetable can also be chosen.

Other: Getting seat in this college is becoming more difficult every year, this shows that the competition is high for this college. There are many reasons why it has got hype in the first place, they are: it is worth of money (all class people can join without thinking about fee), it has got good infrastructure, friendly faculty, strict rules (which everyone will love the rules as they minimize the harm for students), good library, everything online (from A-Z everything is online), it is transparent in everything, can get interaction with different religion and region people. These are very few there is a lot to explore in SASTRA University. In one sentence “It has got everything, no need to think twice if you are eligible to join.”

The Course is easy and good Facilities.
Placements: Sastra University has good placement like in our Course 67% of students are placed. The highest package offered is 27 LPA and the lowest Package offered is 3 to 9 LPA. Internship opportunities in our Course is 56%. Recruiting companies such as Flipkart, Amazon, Ekart and Many. Our University have good Placement.
Infrastructure: The facilities and Infrastructure available in our course/department is best like they provide Wi-Fi, Lab facilities and Classrooms are large and Libraries are good. The Quality of the facilities in our Hostel is good. The Quality of food available in the mess and canteen food is good but costly.
Faculty: The Teachers are a helpful, friendly and Qualified with Masters have more than 10 to 15 years of Experience in Teaching. The Teaching quality is good in our Course. Course curriculum is relevant to Industry. The Students are made Ready for Industries. Semester exams are hard to pass. Pass percentage in our Course is 89%.. .
