Absolutely satisfied with the faculty and the infrastructure.

Placements: SRM University (Kathankulathur campus) is one of the best campuses out of all SRM institutions. The facilities here are impressive and the faculty gives their best. The placement cell is quite promising and we can expect placements for every student in B.Tech whereas M.Tech may slightly vary.

Infrastructure: SRM University (Kathankulathur branch) is well reputed and has equipped labs. The infrastructure here is quite good and the classrooms are well-furnished.n We have a good library with a decent collection of books including journals and other books.

Faculty: SRM University (Kathankulathur branch) has a very promising faculty. They train students in a very good manner The people are very well educated and almost have doctorates. They are quite friendly in nature and it is the best place for a student to grow.

Other: The quality of education is really good. They make you study by having regular assessments. Many companies visit the campus for placements. Nice hostels and other facilities for students. The fee is slightly on the upper side. But, if you get placed at the end of two years, the fee doesn’t really matter.

Other: 2012-2014 was the first batch in cloud computing. As the first batch we were little afraid to take up cloud computing branch in SRM University, but after the 1st semester, we were confident about the course after seeing the infrastructure and the quality of study and placements. However, the problem in the University is that placements are a little less for M.Tech candidates when compared to the B.Tech candidates. The candidates selected in the interview is in the ratio 10 B.Tech: 1 M.Tech.

Other: This is a totally new stream in the world. SRM provided the best infrastructure for cloud and best teachers with the best facilities. It also provided best internship opportunities with placements. Lab and personal computer facilities with personal cloud storage are also available for Cloud Computing students. Hostel facility and mess facility are very good, even for North Indian.
