SRM Institute of Science and Technology MTech Courses & Fees 2026: Admission Dates & Eligibility

MTech is a two-year course divided into four semesters. SRM Institute of Technology Kattankulathur offers M.Tech in full-time mode in 27 specialisations and part-time in nine specialisations. SRM Institute of Science and Technology cutoff 2024 had been released based on NEET MDS scores of the candidates seeking admission to MDS courses at the institute. As per the SRM Institute of Science and Technology NEET MDS cutoff 2024, the MDS specialisation cutoff for the General All India category candidates stood between 4470 and 14288. No, candidates must pay all fees online or by DD. No cash payment is allowed for the counselling process. The candidates who qualify for SRMJEEE must appear for the counselling rounds with their documents for verification. SRMIST is conducting the counselling online. For online counselling, candidates are informed the details through email or text messages. To participate in SRMJEEE counselling in online mode (SRM counselling), candidates have to register and pay the required fee.

SRM IST fee refund policy is based on UGC guidelines. Candidates get full refund at any time between the academic year of admission. Candidates are required to submit an application form signed by them t and their parent in person or online for refund. Candidates get refund to their bank provided in the refund request form. The refund will be processed by RTGS or NEFT. 

Candidates who withdraw their admission and seeking for fee refund at SRM University, must contact the admission office of the university and go through the refund policies. As per the details collated from the unofficial sources, candidates can also donwload the refund form from the official website. After filling the form and attaching the relevant documents, the form can be submitted to the SRM university admin department main campus.

Admission to SRM University has been conducted under SRMHCAT through MAT, XAT scores. To get into SRM University, candidates need to acquire a cutoff rank of 80 for MAT and 50 for XAT under open category. Comparing it to the previous years' cutoff, it remained same over the years. No change has been witnessed in the cutoffs in 2022, 2023, and 2024.

SRM University accepts XAT, MAT scores. To get into the institute it is necessary for the candidates to score at least 50 percentile for which they will selection under XAT. Further, MBA cutoff for XAT and MAT exam stood at 50 and 80, respectively, for the open category candidates.
