It is a decent college for good exposure.

Placements: More than 90% of students got placed in this course. The average salary package offered was 8.19 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 1.02 crore per annum. Top recruiting companies are Google and Microsoft. Many students got internships both on-campus and off-campus. The top roles offered are web designer and software developer.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are air-conditioned and smart. Laboratories are well-equipped. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Hostel facilities are satisfactory. The food served in the mess is average. Sports are conducted such as badminton, basketball, table tennis, etc. A playground is available for sports like cricket.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and experienced. Few courses are irrelevant but most of them like computer programming courses are relevant. Semester exams are moderate. The pass criterion is 9 CGPA.

Placements: Vellore Institute of Technology has maintained an excellent placement record by providing its students with ample opportunities to blossom in their career goals. The university has been ranked at the 28th, 55th, and 15th positions by the NIRF under the overall, management, and engineering categories, respectively. The placement season for the 2022 batch started on July 15. During VIT Vellore Placements 2022, the highest salary package was 1.2 CPA, which was offered to two students by Motorq. The average salary package offered was 8.19 LPA. A total of 7462 students were placed during the placement drive. Students received 2562 super dream offers and 2907 dream offers.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. It has a very large campus. The campus is spread across a vast area of 372 acres. The remarkable aspect of VIT is the state-of-the-art infrastructure provided for both students and faculty. Fully furnished and well-equipped labs decorate every building in the university. Moreover, the campus is fortified with ample features that support diverse events. It has auditoriums, open spaces, outdoor stages, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. They will teach you by using projectors. There are three exams per semester. It will be very stressful for students because of the exam schedule.

Other: They conduct exams frequently, so you will not have time to study or enjoy campus life.
