A review of the life at VIT university.
Placements: The university has an excellent track record regarding the placements. Even the year before it had more than 8000 placements from the IT companies alone. From my department, most of the seniors chose higher studies in the universities all over the world including Cambridge university. There were also the placements into the companies like Biocon, for the science students.
Infrastructure: The campus stretches across 250-acres and has many green open spaces, auditoriums, specialized academic blocks, etc. Students are given free WiFi (10 GB) Per Month. The library has many digital books and journals among others. There are a clinic and a pharmacy inside the campus itself. There are many courts and areas for sports. It is also a good place to go around on a cycle. The laboratory facilities are also good and there are many sophisticated instruments like NMR, SEM, TEM etc. In addition to the mess, there are good canteens which serve a variety of cuisines and several small stalls. The hostel facilities are good as well, and the food is fine. We can choose a category like north Indian veg or non-veg, etc.
Faculty: The faculty are qualified and ready to help. They make use of smart classrooms and labs for the classes. The curriculum is fine, and there is a credit based marking system. In our department, the student to faculty ratio is almost close to 1:1. Some workshops and programmes encourage the students to explore.
Other: Life at VIT can be fun and beneficial if you have the right group of friends and a good faculty which is not very hard to find here. There are many clubs and chapters one can join to improve their skills and interests like the dance, music, arts, trekking, engineering, etc.

Other: This college gives all the exposure a student possibly needs. It has a great faculty. It gives you a chance to explore your talent, apart from academics. It provides good placements and a great infrastructure. It also has good hostel facilities. The bad part is, there is too much of discrimination when it comes to girls and boys.

There is an entrance exam held at VIT through which you get admission in VIT and you need to go to VIT and talk about the management seat being offered.
