IIM Indore held its IPMAT 2021 for admissions to its five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) on July 16, 2021. However, the IPMAT 2021 exam got restructured after several delays due to the pandemic situation across the globe. There were 60 questions in all, divided into three sections: Quantitative Ability (MCQ), Quantitative Ability (Short Answers) and Verbal Ability (MCQ). The test got shortened to 90 minutes (rather than the standard 120 minutes), with a 30-minute sectional time restriction. Each reasonable effort would get four points, while each incorrect attempt would result in a one point penalty (except for the short answer section).

IPMAT is known to be a difficult exam because of its mathematics component. The Quant questions include high level mathematics. The VA section is also at par but is easier than QA.
