SET 2022 admit cards have been released online today, i.e. June 22 at 7 PM. Candidates who have successfully registered themselves for the SET exam can download their admit cards using their User ID and Password. The exam will be conducted on July 3, 2022, in the computer-based test mode across various test centres. Read the article below to know more.

To download the SET admit cards, follow the steps mentioned below. 

  • Visit the official SET website

  • Enter SET ID and Password and click the 'Login' button
  • Click on the 'SET admit card' link on the page

Before appearing for the SET exam, candidates must follow the exam day guidelines mentioned below:

Q:   When will the SET admit card release?
A: 

SET admit cards are released a week before exam. SET 2026 admit card will be released on April 24, and April 30. Students can download the SET admit card using their user ID and password.

Q:   Can I change my exam centre after the admit card has been issued for SET?
A: 
No, candidates can not make any changes once the SET application form has been submitted and the admit card has been issued. Candidates can however, contact the exam conducing authorities if they find any error in the SET admit card. Having said that. SET exam conducting authorities reserve the right to modify, add or combine any test centre/s if required.
Q:   Who is eligible to download the SET admit card?
A: 

SET admit card will be available online on SET Test website. Students who have submitted SET application form before deadline can download their SET admit cards. But, if candidate has not paid SET application fee, then they will not be eligible to download SET admit card.

Q:   Can I get two SET admit cards for two sessions?
A: 

Yes, candidates will have to carry two SET admit cards to the exam centre if they have applied for both sessions. Candidates will be required to apply for each course and test individually, and hence they will be issued two admit cards. The SET hall ticket will be released at least a weak before the exam. Students will have to download the SET admit card for the session that they are appearing for. If they are appearing for two session, candidates have to download two separate admit cards. 

Q:   Will the SET admit card include allotted test centre details?
A: 
Yes, the SET admit card will mention all the details of the exam centre which has been allotted. Candidates must note that they will not be allowed to change the exam centre. They must reach the SET exam centre at least an hour before the exam starts to complete the frisking formalities.
Q:   What details will be mentioned on the SET admit card?
A: 

The admit card of SET will mention the following details:

  • Candidate’s name
  • Admission Category
  • SET ID
  • Exam Date and Venue
  • Venue Address
  • Seat Number
  • Candidate's date of birth
  • Exam Day Instructions

The test takers are advised to take two printouts of the SET admit card and preserve at least one copy of the same till the end of the admission process. Institutes may seek a copy of admit card at the time of admission. The test takers must also carry a valid photo ID proof to the exam hall. The SET admit card is one of the most important documents which is to be carried to the exam hall. The SET admit card will be treated as the entry ticket to the centre.  To ensure that a candidate doesn't use proxy candidate for taking the exam, admit card and original photo ID is checked at the exam centre. 

  • SET admit card is the most important document to be carried to the exam centre.
  • Applicants must carry one valid photo ID proof to the SET exam centre such as a Voter ID, Driving License, Passport, Aadhar card, PAN card, or College ID Card.
  • Candidates must make sure that their recent coloured passport size photograph is pasted on the SET admit card.
  • Only coloured and clear print out of the SET admit cards will be accepted. 
  • Aspirants should not carry any electronic gadgets to the exam center such as digital watches, mobile phones, calculators, alarm clocks, etc.
  • Candidates must reach the exam centre on the time mentioned on their admit card.
  • They are required to follow the social distancing norms and covid-19 guidelines at all times.

IPMAT is usually considered a bit more difficult than SET, as IPMAT exam has advanced mathematics and is calculation intensive. The exam also have a sectional time limit. But, SET is easier in terms of difficulty, does not have negative marking or sectional timings.
