NBSE HSSLC Exam Pattern 2026: Know Marking Scheme & Exam Duration

The students preparing for the Nagaland Board 12th exams must check the exam format and prepare accordingly. NBSE HSSLC exams include a mix of objective (multiple choice questions), and subjective (short and long type questions). However, exam format may vary subject to subject especially in theory papers. A few papers like Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Sociology etc. also include practical exams of 30 marks in each paper.

No, there is no negative marking scheme in the NBSE HSSLC exams. Nagaland board does not follow negative marking scheme in its class 12 board exams. This allow the students answer every objective and subjective questions asked in the exams. However, students should accuracy, especially in the section dedicated to objective type questions. 

Cracking the NBSE HSSLC exam is similar to CBSE because NBSE follows the NCERT carriculu and syllabus. Hence, the students must focus on their NBSE HSSLC exam preparation. The NBSE offer all the common and major subjects in its class 12. All the major subjects are divided stream-wise and few subjects are common for all stream students.
