What After UGAT 2026 Result?
After the declaration of the UGAT 2026 result, UGAT participating institutes will release their separate cut-off lists. Candidates can apply for admission to the participating institutes based on their UGAT score. For UGAT admissions, students have to participate in the counselling process at the participating institutes. The UGAT counselling process started in the first week of July 2026. Students have to be physically present during the UGAT selection process rounds failing which seat will be allocated to other candidates. No, after the UGAT exam is cleared, candidates will have to go through for further selection procedure conducted by the participating institutes. The UGAT scores are accepted various colleges and universities. Candidates need to meet the cutoff criteria of the participating institutes to take admissions. The admission process includes Written Ability Test (What), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI). Other factors such as academic record, work experience, etc. are also considered for admission to various institutes which accept UGAT scores. UGAT score is only the first parameter on which the candidates are shortlisted for admission. The institutes first shortlist the candidates for WAT, GD and PI on the basis of their UGAT scores, marks obtained in Class 12. For the final selection, the institutes take UGAT scores, performance in GD/PI, What, Class 12 marks, work experience, academic diversity and gender diversity are taken into consideration.

Maths is not mandatory to have but it is important in UGAT preparation as the question in Numerical and Data Analysis section are based on maths concepts.

AIMA Under Graduate Aptitude Test is conducted once a year. The exam is conducted for admission to undergraduate courses such as Integrated MBA, BBA, BCA and BHM and other courses by the All India Management Association.
